In the cold southern Chile, the first manifestation of Black Metal (as it is known today) appeared in 1994 when AvD (guitar/vocals) disolved his first Death Black metal band 13 Candles and joined Schattenriss & Demontré in this new concept that blended the old Bathory/Hellhammer influence with the scandinavian 2nd wave of Black Metal sound.     Since then, HORNS remained utterly underground with just 5 live performances (Sweden and Chile)in this 22 years of undead existence.      In 2012, the duo AvD / Schattenriss splitted up, so Aerzengellus von Dunkelnacht decided to go on as a solo project with live and studio session musicians such as Ghrellberick (Bass) and N. Onfray (drums).
