28to15 is a project which started out with the intention of just putting a couple of songs together but has grown into a full-fledged production consisting of Nikiforos Antonatos and Marc Ros.

28to15’s overall sound and style could best be described as rock with a distinctive pop-edge that has an ability to reach a varied and broad audience. Packed with catchy and (generally) uplifting music, with a contemporary electronic groove thrown in for good measure, the EP sits in comfortably amongst current mainstream songs and artists whilst being reminiscent of the sounds of bands like Counting Crows, Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews Band. The whole EP has a modern feel but a very familiar sound.

When Marc relocated from Teddington (a town in the outskirts of London) to Hilperton (an even smaller town in Wiltshire), he came up with the name 28to15, which stems from Marc’s house numbers in the respective towns. Both locations are where the tracks were written, recorded and produced.  The name of the EP, 99 Miles, refers to the actual distance between the two friends Marc and Nik who still currently resides in Teddington. 

The project’s name encapsulates the whole journey, creatively and geographically.
