MonoVex, whose real name is Sven Wechenberger, was born in Westerwald in 1978 and has been deeply rooted in the electronic music scene since 1994. His musical journey began with the fascination with techno and the first self-recorded club nights. In 1998 he started his career as a DJ under the name "Marco del Sol" and quickly made a name for himself in the scene.

In his active time he organised his own event series such as the legendary "Da Bitch Parties" near Limburg/Lahn and in the East Port of Diez. His residences in clubs such as the "Anyway" (Limburg), the "Subkultur" (Koblenz) and the "Monokel" (Siegen) made him a fixture of the scene. He also played in renowned locations such as the "Falle" in Bonn, the "Club de Soleil" in Dortmund and the "Pink Flamingo Stage" at the Hessentag 2005 in Weilburg. He was on stage with greats like DJ Karotte, Frank Lorber, Toni Rios, Tom Schön and DJ Pierre.

After a longer break - due to the changes in the scene and the desire to devote himself to his family - Sven is now back under the stage name "MonoVex" to live out his passion for electronic music in a new way. As a producer, he combines influences from Deep and Atmospheric House, Progressive and Melodic Techno and Tech House.
