Há exatamente 1 ano eu estava comprando o meu primeiro teclado midi para iniciar as minhas tão sonhadas aulas de produção musical com o meu querido professor e amigo @vinceemusic 🤍

Eu sempre amei estudar e encarar novos desafios e quando eu completei 10 anos de carreira como DJ, senti no meu coração que era o momento de uma nova etapa na minha carreira e de iniciar o aprendizado para criar as minhas próprias músicas, edits e remixes. 

Como exercício, começamos pegando os mashups que eu faço nos toca-discos e solto para vocês aqui e transformamos eles em tracks no software de produção. 

Após muitos mashups e horas de reconhecimento do software começamos a introduzir o teclado midi nas aulas e eu comecei a aprender a “recortar” pedaços de vocais e samples que eu tanto amo ~ estava ansiosa demais por essa aula e fiquei igual uma criança feliz. 

Desses exercícios saíram 4 edits de músicas que sou apaixonada e que vou soltar pra vocês até o final de Julho - porque obviamente já estou criando coisas novas e aprendendo nesse processo. 

A primeira música que escolhi criar o edit foi um som que tem um significado muito especial para mim, sou apaixonada nessa música do The Gap Band e estou nas nuvens em ter a minha versão dela.

Exactly 1 year ago, I was buying my first MIDI keyboard to start my long-dreamed-of music production lessons with my dear teacher and friend @vinceemusic 🤍

I have always loved studying and taking on new challenges, and when I reached 10 years of my DJ career, I felt in my heart that it was time for a new chapter and to start learning to create my own songs, edits, and remixes.

As an exercise, we began by taking the mashups I make on the turntables and release for you here and transforming them into tracks in the production software.

After many mashups and hours of getting to know the software, we started introducing the MIDI keyboard in the lessons, and I began learning how to "cut" pieces of vocals and samples that I love so much. I was incredibly excited for this lesson and felt like a happy child.

From these exercises came 4 edits of songs that I am passionate about and will release to you by the end of July – because, of course, I am already creating new things and learning in the process.

The first song I chose to create an edit of is one that has a very special meaning to me. I am in love with this song by The Gap Band and am over the moon to have my own version of it.
