Michael C. Harris also known by his stage name Mike Harris was born January 27, 1990 in Philadelphia, PA. At the age of 10 Harris move to NJ with his mother which is also where he resides today. In 2005 Harris wrote a few raps for his younger brothers rap group known as the Young Stars. The group was very successful and got lots of good feedback for the songs that were written by Harris. In 2009 Harris started a rap group, but because Harris was heavily in the streets at the time he wasn’t as successful than as he is now.  In 2010 things started to look up for Mr. Harris when he welcomed the birth of his one and only son Mikey. For a short period of time things were going good for Mr. Harris until 2011 when he was incarcerated for 5 years in the New Jersey corrections facility. In those 5 years Harris sat and had plenty of time to think about where life would lead him when it was time for him to come home.  In 2016 when Harris was released from prison he decided that it was no place for him and then pursued his career in music after teaming up with his brother Christopher “ChrisTV” Bobo and friend Christopher “Fukitupbonez” Hill who also became his engineer/manager. Together as a team they started doing comedy skits and music. In May of 2016 Harris and his crew decided to berth the label which is now known as NewWave. Harris did a song with Quilly Mill and opened for PNB ROCK whom are both artist from Philly. They have also done multiple shows in NY, NJ, PA, Baltimore, and ATL.

Harris did not stop there, he was finally in a good place doing something that he was passionate about. Although Jump was his first song, it wasn’t until later he released his first single on SoundCloud. The song “Whipp It” did exactly what Harris hoped it would do, the feedback was good and Mr. Harris now had the drive to write more. Included here is also a link for the single Whipp it:

In October 2017 Harris linked up with well-known producer J Mello Beats and began working on his untitled LP due to drop in early January. Although in his youth Harris ran into some troubles, with his time and dedication to his music he has become not only a phenomenon in his own city and state, but others as well.
