Amos’ Flat is a three part album by VASE in collaboration with Opal Tapes & INDEX:Records: an odyssey of sonic manoeuvres through ambient, bass and IDM. This trilogy reveals VASE dissecting compositions down to sparse rhythmic explorations, disruptive power shifts and nebulous bass bliss.
So , here we go , the first part from south-american born, Berlin based artist Vase with this open composition -  BV133 w/ Black Snake Whip -synthesis of cosmic and plasticized melodic collages, birthed from the guts of hand built exotic electronics and various audio devices, built from one's own design and heavily modified beyond audible recognition or return. Utrecht-based record label Something Happening Somewhere (@sohaso) are set to drop a bold 12-track compilation featuring the likes of Ian Pooley, Mark Du Mosch, Tripeo, Luna Ludmila and Dutch newcomer Rahsaan Nova.

Walking through town he cast a glance at the people moving quickly, they walked with delicate precision and intent towards work and other such extravagant places. He didn't have such luxury for he was a concrete dweller, a night wanderer. There was every quirky chance that he might bump into an old friend at any given time, who knew what he might find? 

Aroent is set to release a new EP which has already been featuring in the sets of the likes of Ben UFO, Gramrcy and more. That usually means you are on to a winner and to be honest, this track speaks for itself.

He awoke disorientated, his vision blurred in the early morning light. His face had been stuck to the lino floor in the kitchen, seems he hadn't made it up the stairs to bed then. The stench of cigarette smoke clung to the air and the fumes of undisclosed alcohol spillages travelled up his nostrils. Everybody had already made their escape before morning (and the inevitable regret) had begun to creep in, and as usual he'd been left to pick up the pieces.

Last month we shared the news of Brighton-based party starters Accidental Meetings taking their first steps into the label world, enlisting the help of friends and family with close ties to the party to contribute tracks to their mammoth compilation. After lockdown left the crew with no events in sight, they made a pledge to pull together the 21-track offering which journeys through the electronic sounds that will be at the core of the label in the future. From dancehall and electro to UK techno and breaks, the release features cuts from the likes of Chungo, Charles Green, Alexis, Caldera, ZaaZaa, Kincaid and DJ Tess, which we premiered last month.
