Luis Lecea Romera is an artist, composer, and lecturer based in Amsterdam and Madrid. His work investigates our relation to loss and the socio-political significance of decay, examining the affective and narrative capabilities of vibration and resonance through situated uses of audio-spatial technologies. By manipulating material and aural spaces, his work fosters time-based environments designed to critically engage with processes of production, reproduction, and decomposition, set against bodily, architectural, and landscape contexts.
