This is about alienation in a world with no boundaries of personal space.
Every year when the fall marches in and it gets dark early in Denmark I start listening to and making darker and deeper music, and that’s exactly what happened in the fall of 2011 when I made the backing track for this song. Once again I knew exactly who I wanted to sing on the track. As with Hayze it took me a long time to track down Richard Davis, but I am so happy I found him, got in touch and started working with him. I love everything about his tone, harmonies and song writing and just as I predicted he made ‘Found Out’ the dark song I had hoped for. The song has been revisited since 2011 but the original feel has been kept 100% intact.

Following on from his debut self-titled album, Danish House extraordinaire Noir provides us with the record’s second single, ‘Let It Go’, featuring vocals from Caitlin. The single features a remix from Stuttgart’s Johannes Brecht, and two new versions from Noir himself, in the form of a ‘Raw Club Cut’ and a thumping Techno remix.  The Raw Club Cut gets down to business with Caitlin’s fervent vocal sitting on top of the hypnotic, stabbing lead line that keeps the rhythm flowing through the entirety of the track. Pulsing pads continue to build emotion that build to the song’s conclusion.   Johannes Brecht follows a different direction with a chilled beach jam, eminating a laid back bassline, chugging percussion and down tempo piano chords, topped by a warm pitched down vocal line.   The single is concluded by Noir’s ‘Long Gone’ Techno remix, an intelligent piece with attitude. Mechanical synth lines go up against the vocals, now chopped and twisted to reflect the vibe, all above the pounding kick drum.

On “Express Yourself” the German guys have teamed up with Xenia Beliayeva who wrote and performed some lush vocals on top of the duo's hypnotic techno vibes. The outcome is an addictive journey that will have any techno crowd go crazy.

Both Andre Winter and Ernesto Ferreyra has poured their excellent production skills all over the release and made unique remixes of this beast. Andre Winter sticks to his solid techno vibes and his rock-solid sound known from Ideal Audio and Senso Sounds.
Ernesto Ferreyra cleverly turns the journey a lot deeper, layered and dubby spaced out.

Spanish artist Lopezhouse takes flight on Mude Tod - his dirtybird debut.  It’s a highly mixable techno track with dark melodic undertones perhaps referencing “Der Mude Tod” (The Weary Death.)  But the emotive melodic build throughout is anything but weary.  Its a huge track that has been getting incredible reactions all across Europe and North America when Claude has been dropping it toward the end of his sets.  

A post punk attitude - inspired perhaps by the likes of LCD Soundsystem and Depeche Mode - is further refined and mixed with a heavy kick drum and the sublties of old school Detroit techno.  Dirtybird is always stretching out and finding new sounds to champion and this is yet another surprising evolution from the trailblazing imprint.
