A Colombian artist originally from Cali, he produces electronic music influenced by techno, minimal, hard beats, schranz, and more genres of electronic music. This artist seeks to revolutionize the electronic music scene in his city and country. His project emerged in mid-2020 during the severe impact of the pandemic and its entire process. Curiosity about the creation process of electronic music was the starting point for its development, as in previous years he had been listening to genres ranging from nu metal, neo-punk, and progressive. A few years later, a keen interest in the power of electronic music, especially Minimal and Techno, was awakened. Dan Horizon proposes creating a contrast between the classic (past) and the modern (present) to achieve a true essence that influences his generation, which is following the same path, and the rest of the world.
In his mind, he proposes to showcase the projects that inspire him most, regardless of the genre. He believes that sticking to a specific style is immutable, and that electronic music has much to explore. His inspiration and the person who encouraged him to pursue his ideas was his brother, Samuel Bass, one of the leading exponents of electronic music in Cali. His entire productive career has been developed empirically and with the support of important Colombian and international record labels, as well as with the support of a great mentor, Mr. Andrés Zuluaga, who supported him from the beginning and has been one of his key figures throughout his entire process and evolution.
