André Bordinhon (1979) is a Brazilian guitar player and composer living in São Paulo, Brazil.

He is currently developing Hiroshige Project, which is a free improvisation project based upon the great Japanese woodblock painting serie called “One Hundred Famous views of Edo”, by the ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858). The project consists in a small improvised musical piece inspired by each print of the serie. The term ukiyo-e  translates as "picture[s] of the floating world". 

In the Free Improvisation scene he collaborated with Célio Barros and Guilherme Marques (Trio Orbital) and recorded with the French guitarist Noël Akchoté.

He collaborated with the Catalan circus collective Col.lectiu La Persiana alongside the band Venáncio y los Jóvenes de Antaño.

He also collaborated with the big band of the composer based in Austria, Emiliano Sampaio.

He has toured in Japan, USA and Brazil.

André Bordinhon is a member of several music groups, and plays with many artists of the musical scene of São Paulo such as São Yantó, Corina Magalhães, Daniel Coelho Sexteto, Lê Coelho, Roberta Zerbini, Laura Wrona, Rita Bastos, Vânia Bastos and Paula Mirhan to name a few.
