"Epoch Dawn" is a musical journey set in the land of fantasy and make-believe. Stepping out of the shadows of the past, a bright orange light hits your eyes as you slowly gaze up into the sky for the first time. Vibrant colors melt into the majestic landscape with large rugged mountains and eagle-talon-like rocks coming out of the sea of evergreens leaves you in nothing short of complete awe. Morning bells sound in the distance harmonized by the serenity of nature with a wondrous chilling breeze from the east heightens this surrealistic experience.

"Epoch Dawn" represents a new chapter, a clean slate, and a new beginning full of adventure. Each song is carefully arranged and crafted to maximize drive, power, dynamics, and emotion with meticulous use of the acoustic orchestra, percussion, choirs, and electronica to create something new, fresh, and epic. Our next Villain release is by the talented Snareskin; a Dutchman from the south of The Netherlands. At only 20 years old, his productions are definitely way ahead of his age. Snareskin has managed to cut right to the chase with this song, delivering powerful emotions with catchy melodies.

Waves of Time, featuring the vocals of Labisch, is arranged creatively; arpeggios provide the melodic foundation, while the percussion consistently pushes the music forward throughout. Bright, omnipotent synth stabs at the chorus accentuate Labisch’s soft-yet-solid emotional vocals, making us feel many emotions at once. Sit back and experience the waves of sound crashing over you.

Following up his first release on Villain Recordings - the moody, growling, dark “Mitzdi”- Whynnel returns with “Murvan”. Showcasing a pervasive atmosphere of suspense and unsettlement that wouldn’t be out of place in a film noir movie. 

Whynnel’s expert manipulation of sub-bass and synths; combined with perfect side-chaining and crisp percussion hats and kicks, bring this tune to life from the depths of the sonic sea. Just as we become accustomed to following “Murvan”’s gritty squeaks and filtered piano chords down the twisting path Whynnel has created for us - it ends, and we realize we aren’t the same person as when we started.
