Dreamy melody crafters Moonwalk show off their techno side as they double up with label mainstay Teenage Mutants for a split-EP. Moonwalk set the coordinates signing off the incipient track, a pensive composition boasting a steady bassline traced with scintillating whirs. Lush vocals complete the melody, while additional metallic percussive pads densen the groove, trailing off to an abrupt halt. ‘Meteora’ props a cynical mood, as grave synths interlace, gradually unraveling a crisp and straightforward arrangement.

Teenage Mutants’ first contribution comes in the shape of the tribalesque vocal infused ‘Bokawa’. Kicking off with an immersive percussion, ‘Casio’ instantly comes off as a heavy hitting, dancefloor absorbing cut. Constant blipping ticks reveal the title connection, while synth sequences cushion the groove line. Despite using an array of additional elements, the bassline remains the centerpiece and ultimately makes for an incisive earworm.

Berlin based producer Lukas Achim started his musical carreer quite early by taking on the drums at the age of 8. After  trading in his drum set for a pair of headphones, he discovered that electronic music was going to be a big part of his life. He took his first steps in producing in 2011 by finishing his first project: A deep, yet thriving remix of Everything But the Girls „Missing“. Another remix of Tanita Tikaram's „Twist in my Sobriety“ should follow before Lukas realized that Tech-House was more than just a hobby to him. 

Looking to find his own sound and to dive deeper into electronic music Lukas moved to Berlin – what he experienced was exactly what he was looking for. A stronger identification with HIS music caused by a deeper, more detailed look at Berlin's tremendous music scene. 
Having found his sound Lukas started working on his first major project „1450“, which marks a turning point in his commitment to electronic music. No longer did he just interpret someone else's work, but melodize his own ideas, which led to his Originals „Alter Felix“ and „Kautschuk“.

When it comes to describing his music Lukas  keeps it simple by saying his music „sounds pretty much like a factory in a pine forest“. The combination of deep melodies and powerful basslines are what characterizes Lukas's sound, which is influenced by everyday situations. These can be the noises and atmosphere created by a crowded bus or those rare moments at night when the streets of Berlin come to a rest. These images inspire and guide his music and define it's outlines. 

By signing his tracks „Alter Felix“ and „Kautschuk“ to Cristian Bergagnas newly formed label Crafting Music Recordings, Lukas is taking another step in his musical progress. This step is one of many to come and time will tell where the journey leads Lukas while he is staying true to his passion of producing Electronic Music.
