Lukas Batteau's second full-length was recorded in the scorching Nashville summer of 2016, together with longtime friend and producer Steve Savage. In a journey that took over two years, following the release of his debut record Wasteland in 2013, Lukas Batteau almost quit music altogether, exhausted and discouraged by the realities of life as an artist. But he found new inspiration in the incredible joys of parenthood and the wilful suffering of road cycling. Or vice versa. But beneath it all, a complete surrendering to where the road may lead. As Lukas writes in title track Telescope: In slow motion we move. We have nothing to prove.
