When I was asked to remix "Diving For" I was immediately thinking of something dancy and catchy. I used a tambourine to set up a constant, subtle groove and a broken beat to keep it a little funky. Being a big fan of synthie-chords I had to add them as well. For the chorus I tried to establish a whole different mood with straight 4-to-the-floor-drums and different instruments so that there's a distinguishable contrast between the verses and the chorus.
