Before you experience Burning Man, you always have an image of how it would be. After a couple days, I realised it was a lot different than I had imagined. Being in the middle of no where surrounded by dust, where everybody around you shares the same vibe and we all come together as one was like a dream. I wish I could live this dream forever. During my White Ocean set, the atmosphere around was shaking with a thousand voices; like that part of the song when the music stops and the voices die down, but a fragile few still float in the air.  It's a different planet. Without even realising, you connect with everything around you. Your music is asking questions and it's demanding for a story to be told. Thank you White Ocean and I can't wait to see you in the dust!

Sometimes you are creating a declaration of love - automatically. Beatamines composed many of those lines for extraordinary dancing people, for electronic music and the possibility to express himself with tracks like „How Never“ or "Swaggin“. His tracks and remixes were released on MBF (Traumschallplatten), Bondage - Music, Kittball, Stil vor Talent and on his hombebase, David Keno' s imprint Keno Records. But Beatamines does not only work as a solo producer, he also releases tracks with his mate David Jach - each number got a place in the charts and Beatamines was elected to one of the best newcomers in the last two years.

Now the German nice guy is nearly booked up and he is on the way to being an honoured unique DJ, Liveact and Producer beyond Europe. Pascal Augner, that‘s the real name of Beatamines, waggles busy with his declarations of love and writes new ones every day. He's packing the emotions of a summer love into it, underlined with fat baselines, pregnant claps and magic melodies.

2013 was a good and successful year for Pascal. He reinterpreted "The Planets" together with David Jach and the Dortmund Philharmonics (100 man strong orchestra) Gustav Holst. That was a very great honour for him, music remixing and re-writing for such a huge body of sound. Due to popular demand, the project „Groove Symphony" will be continued. In the beginning of 2014 the restless Thuringia has established a new project with Mirco Niemeier called „Ektschn!“ The first release will appear on the label of Super Flu "Sunset Handjob"! 3 2 1 and ektschn! Catch him, if you can... and don't forget to eat your Beatamines!

" Ahoy! I'm living at the baltic sea coast in germany and since my childhood i'm playing the saxophone in several live combos. But a decade ago I also fell in love with electronic music. I like it smooth, I like it slow, I like it driving and drifting. I love to spread my vibe daytime on music festivals, sharing storytelling dj sets and of course still love jammin the saxophone with soulfoul musicians. Once in a while I combine and make live saxophone Dj sets.
