A music aficionado with an obsessive, compulsive desire to dig deep for dance floor weapons, Algorithm has spent two decades mastering his craft. Igniting his passions for a wide range of genres as a young DJ on the club circuit, he developed a deep understanding of the sounds he now uses to stir up dusty dance floors. In the past few years alone he has graced the stages at some of the scene’s most influential and respected events such as Rainbow Serpent Festival, Earthcore, Yemaya, Babylon, Esoteric and Eclipse Festival. 
Embracing the energy and exciting influences the festival circuit offers, Algorithm has honed his sound and abilities to a fine art, having broadened his tastes and style, he's become a trusted source of musical magic across all listening spaces. Each time he takes the stage, armed with an inspiring range of sounds and well thought-out sets, Algorithm forms the path of the dance floor journey and takes the punters on a ride.

Phillip’s passion and keen ear for good pure tunes lead to gigs for local crews like Sunset and Loose but the highlight of his career so far is being honoured with a guest mix for John ‘00’ Fleming’s monthly radio show ‘Global Trance Grooves’. While his heart lies with a pure, focussed trance sound, he is not afraid to delve into the deeper and darker areas of the record box and this is reflected in his flexibility as a DJ. He can play an early, middle or late set depending on feel of the night.
