Buenos Dias!!  Yes, hello and welcome to Il Modo's infamous weekly Progcast. Our long running series takes you around Planet Progressive every week, transporting you to another hot dance floor destination and an exclusive DJ mix. 

This week we are back in our favourite haunt, Argentina! Arriving at the home of an up and coming electronic artist who already has a string of top class clubs under his belt, this is LAMPU! 

Ignacio Lampugnani, better known as Lampu, is a DJ and Electronic music Producer, originally from Argentina. Ignacio started his career halfway through 2018, focussing on underground electronica and house music.

In 2022, Ignacio  took on courses in Academia "El Cóndor" where he improved both as a DJ and Music Producer. His sound incorporates deep, spatial melodies and progressive symphonies, whilst his DJ sets take in genres such as Afro House, Progressive house, Deep house and Indie dance,  a potent combination that makes his people dance for hours. 

Back in Mendoza, he has played in private parties and clubs, including Barijho, Birra House, Beerlin, Casa Roja, The Garnish, Bodega Arizu, The Bunker and more. listen out for more from Lampu in 2025 as he continues his rise through the ranks, including this specially constructed DJ mix .... Igniting his passions for a wide range of genres as a young DJ on the club circuit, he developed a deep understanding of the sounds he now uses to stir up dusty dance floors. In the past few years alone he has graced the stages at some of the scene’s most influential and respected events such as Rainbow Serpent Festival, Earthcore, Yemaya, Babylon, Esoteric and Eclipse Festival. 
Embracing the energy and exciting influences the festival circuit offers, Algorithm has honed his sound and abilities to a fine art, having broadened his tastes and style, he's become a trusted source of musical magic across all listening spaces. Each time he takes the stage, armed with an inspiring range of sounds and well thought-out sets, Algorithm forms the path of the dance floor journey and takes the punters on a ride.
