Hull based House & Techno DJ/Producer...

ILLICIT Music Founder Khyle Black (Previously BLACK) first started off his journey back in 2011 DJing in main clubs of his hometown Hull, East Yorkshire, where he learned his craft for 5 years on the House & Techno scene before joining forces with Tom Watkinson (Watky) under the Alias ‘Black & Watky’

Since merging as a duo in 2016 Khyle Black has released under labels such as Deeperfect, Moan Recordings, Lost Audio, Twisted Fusion, Under No Illusion and New Violence Records.

In this time they gained support from the likes of LOCO DICE, Joseph Capriati, Solardo, Dennis Ferrer, wAFF to name a few.

Within the past 3 years Khyle Black has toured the UK playing all of the major cities from London to Manchester, Birmingham to Cardiff as well as regular stops for his previous residencies at the hugely renowned MiNT Club and MiNT Warehouse in Leeds. 
As well as DJing many of the UK’s biggest festivals such as We Are FSTVL, Forbidden Forest and main staging for Knee Deep In Sound at MiNT Festival

Playing alongside huge industry giants like Joris Voorn, Green Velvet, Hot Since 82, Heidi, Sasha, Guti, Martin Buttrich has given Khyle Black mountains of experience to showcase his talent in front of any size crowd.

2019 was yet another big year with festival booking for the likes of Forbidden Forest and Made In Leeds Festival. As well as ILLICIT Music’s 6-date summer tour.

2021 will see Khyle Black back at the forefront with ILLICIT and many events over the summer after the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
