Hi, my name is Dan Cook. I am the producer and selector for The Interstellar Lounge. I have been broadcasting The Interstellar Lounge since 1994 and continue to bring Psy Chill and Chilled Out, Spacey, Ambient Beats to the airwaves at 88.1 KFCF on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 7-9pm PST. 

Over the years, the Interstellar Lounge has provided music for numerous Chill Rooms, After Hours parties, and Art Collectives, and has been a guest DJ on several global internet stations which
include: DiceWeb Radio, Midi Radio, Q37 Radio, Casafonda Radio, and Beat Lounge Radio. 

The music and artists that I chose to play in this mix are some of my favorites and hopefully you will enjoy them as much as I do.

Mandala Affect / Luke Mandala live at UPLIFT (1.16.15)(FREE DOWNLOAD)

This set was from 10am-12noon on a Sunday morning, Jan.18th in Eugene, OR with around 100 dancers. You can hear the crowd at times and especially during the end. I curated the set to flow with a pretty balanced range of ages from people in their 20's to the elders.. with some kids dancing too :) I was encouraged to play a very wide variety of different genres to dance to. There was morning sunlight lighting up the room.. it was a beautiful morning! SO fun. Deep gratitude to all that came to dance and thanks for listening! <3

Luke’s dynamic live act includes playing a mixture of electronic and acoustic music while mixing in multiple live wind instruments and live drumming. His lifelong devotion to community dance medicine started at age 14 in 1998 when he started to DJ at northwest USA raveriffic events!
