Natas Kunas is a Lithuanian composer and artist, primarily creating experimental ambient and drone music, film and theatre soundtracks. Through dense textures and timbre-based atmospheres the artist explores sound plasticity and radical dynamics, reflecting on the themes of geologic time, sonic environments, pollution.

Blooming Heart gathering.. ahh my favorite type of event. It's basically a blissed utopia on an island in the NW in the summer. Doesn't get much better for me. This set was late night until shortly before sunrise.. outdoors by the tea lounge. I listen to ambient music about as much as I listen to music with beats so this is a big part of my life, stoked to share it with you! I found this old live mix collecting digital dust in my archives. It's the first hour and change of a live set I played at a Moontribe Full Moon Gathering in November 2017. Dust To Dust

My opening set from the beautifully mellow Crystal Creek 2019 gathering, near Roberts Creek on the unceded traditional territory of the Shishalh(Sechelt) and Skwxwu7mesh (Squamish) First Nations. This set was the start to a very nice weekend and a great opportunity to play some music aimed more at the ears and heart than the dancefloor; originally played from 8-9pm as the sun set through the trees. This is a home recording from my saved history, with a few extra tunes that didn't make it into the live set but felt right as I recorded it taking up the last 15 minutes. Hope you enjoy and that it brings you the feeling of dancing, listening or simply being in the beautiful forests of the pacific northwest coast. Much thanks to @michaelred for organizing and having me out to play.

Luke’s dynamic live act includes playing a mixture of electronic and acoustic music while mixing in multiple live wind instruments and live drumming. His lifelong devotion to community dance medicine started at age 14 in 1998 when he started to DJ at northwest USA raveriffic events! He then started touring the world and releasing hundreds of songs released with a large number of the biggest labels in the world like Selador, Desert Hearts, Digital Structures, Dreaming Awake, Desert Trax, Booka Shade Music. 

This is deep piscean scorpio music, sprinkled with unusual sounds, unexpected twists, eclectic mix of global sounds, various tempos and grooves. It reflects stories of love-driven culture and open-minded ideas.  Depending on the crowd, the sets can vary from being pretty and uplifting to deep, dark, and primal, although they typically feature melodic and atmospheric textures infused with a lot of emotion.  Luke also has a functional (natural, root cause) medicine practice as this weaves so beautiful with dance and music medicine. He helps people heal frequent issues of the gut, metabolism and tiredness.
