Hailing from New Mexico’s high desert to Florida’s deep swamp, @Freeda-Sol fell for the underground sound at starlit parties set in the expansive and otherworldly mesas of the American Southwest. After venturing to the dirty south, Freeda Sol's passion for groovy basslines solidified as she cut her DJing chops on Florida breaks. As a young kid, my deep love of music was inspired by family & friends with diverse tastes but a common love for rhythm and dance that resonated powerfully.  I began to find my own groove, and when I picked up the guitar, I was instantly hooked as a singer/songwriter.

Years later, my mind was completely blown when I first heard techno and breaks at early Moontribe Collective events on full-moon nights deep in the Mojave.  This was the dawn of the So Cal desert rave, and I was somehow lucky enough to be there.  I was hooked, once again, on something altogether new.

I'm so deeply grateful for those experiences, which shaped my life in profound ways, more than I could know at the time.  Through the community, I ultimately found my closest friends, my wife...and myself.

Luke’s dynamic live act includes playing a mixture of electronic and acoustic music while mixing in multiple live wind instruments and live drumming. His lifelong devotion to community dance medicine started at age 14 in 1998 when he started to DJ at northwest USA raveriffic events! He then started touring the world and releasing hundreds of songs released with a large number of the biggest labels in the world like Selador, Desert Hearts, Digital Structures, Dreaming Awake, Desert Trax, Booka Shade Music. 

This is deep piscean scorpio music, sprinkled with unusual sounds, unexpected twists, eclectic mix of global sounds, various tempos and grooves. It reflects stories of love-driven culture and open-minded ideas.  Depending on the crowd, the sets can vary from being pretty and uplifting to deep, dark, and primal, although they typically feature melodic and atmospheric textures infused with a lot of emotion.  Luke also has a functional (natural, root cause) medicine practice as this weaves so beautiful with dance and music medicine. He helps people heal frequent issues of the gut, metabolism and tiredness.
