In 2014 was invited to craft a mix for The Chillout Sessions, a monthly downtempo exploration from online radio station Box Frequency and Woodzee's The Sun Is Shining blog, which was great fun. Trip-hop, a little funk, and eclectic downtempo rule this mix.

Hailing from Córdoba, Argentina, Leandro Murua first appeared on the label's influential We Are The Future compilation in 2020. Since then, he has become one of 3rd Avenue's most consistent artists, with numerous releases across both the main imprint and its Future Avenue sublabel. His growing reputation has also led to appearances on respected platforms like Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Juicebox Music, and YOMO Records.

For this special package, the label has assembled an impressive trio of remix talent: Estonian producer Thomas Ferrell brings his melodic sensibility, Belarusian artist Hully Che contributes his distinctive groove, and Czech Republic's Streichl completes the international lineup with his unique production approach.

I recorded my set that night and then took it into the studio for further enhancements. The focus is definitely more of an energetic bass music sound than most of my mixes, given the context and lineup of that night.

Luke’s dynamic live act includes playing a mixture of electronic and acoustic music while mixing in multiple live wind instruments and live drumming. His lifelong devotion to community dance medicine started at age 14 in 1998 when he started to DJ at northwest USA raveriffic events! He then started touring the world and releasing hundreds of songs released with a large number of the biggest labels in the world like Selador, Desert Hearts, Digital Structures, Dreaming Awake, Desert Trax, Booka Shade Music. 

This is deep piscean scorpio music, sprinkled with unusual sounds, unexpected twists, eclectic mix of global sounds, various tempos and grooves. It reflects stories of love-driven culture and open-minded ideas.  Depending on the crowd, the sets can vary from being pretty and uplifting to deep, dark, and primal, although they typically feature melodic and atmospheric textures infused with a lot of emotion.  Luke also has a functional (natural, root cause) medicine practice as this weaves so beautiful with dance and music medicine. He helps people heal frequent issues of the gut, metabolism and tiredness.
