An exploration into the chiller side of rhythmic electronica.

A portion of this was recorded live during the 1-year anniversary of my former Twitch show, Omakase, in April 2021. The remainder was sequenced in the studio to expand the mix to two hours, for broadcast on Holotropic Happy Hour, the former weekly A/V Twitch show I co-produced on Bluetech's channel for over 2 years.

Na Albertovy narozeniny většinou trochu experimentujeme - minulej rok jako Jádro pudla, letos pouze za sebe, a tak to občas sklouzne trochu do dnb 😊 Nová, místy nahodilá selekce tracků nakonec po zlobivé a jemně šílené gradaci skončí u zaručených klasik, které potěšily každou tančící osobu v místnosti :)

Just days before Summer Solstice, Liquid Bloom performed a powerful set inside Meow Wolf Denver’s Numina exhibit as part of a sold-out PORTAL event during the Psychedelic Science conference. This unique night brought together a global web of psychonauts, artists, and seekers inside the surreal dreamscape of Convergence Station.

Following a rare and beautiful DJ set from East Forest, Liquid Bloom guided a journey from ambient and downtempo into bass, drum & bass, and tribal midtempo—culminating in a high-energy blend of house rhythms and ecstatic movement. A live surprise from Poranguí added soul-stirring vocals to the mix, and a closing invocation from Ram Dass gently brought the spaceship back to Earth.

Chillout set starting with mellow psydub, into more active and funky stuff and finally towards more familiar downtempo and ambient  music. Played on 27/05/2016 on the "Into Ambient" party @ Kraaienest, Gent, Belgium. BIG GUY little guy (aka Anton Tumas and Treavor Moontribe)live at Subtract On The Pier is over 4 hours of deep electronica bliss!!! This set was played to set up the incredible DJs Sabo and Goldcap on a day that ended up being the most packed show on the Long Beach Pier to date! These events present a unique opportunity for this duo to showcase their vast range of musicality by playing deep ambient and building up from downtempo to mid tempo deep house and tribal sounds. This set is downright sexy and is one to close your eyes to and get lost in atmospheric soundscapes! Enjoy!

Luke’s dynamic live act includes playing a mixture of electronic and acoustic music while mixing in multiple live wind instruments and live drumming. His lifelong devotion to community dance medicine started at age 14 in 1998 when he started to DJ at northwest USA raveriffic events! He then started touring the world and releasing hundreds of songs released with a large number of the biggest labels in the world like Selador, Desert Hearts, Digital Structures, Dreaming Awake, Desert Trax, Booka Shade Music. 

This is deep piscean scorpio music, sprinkled with unusual sounds, unexpected twists, eclectic mix of global sounds, various tempos and grooves. It reflects stories of love-driven culture and open-minded ideas.  Depending on the crowd, the sets can vary from being pretty and uplifting to deep, dark, and primal, although they typically feature melodic and atmospheric textures infused with a lot of emotion.  Luke also has a functional (natural, root cause) medicine practice as this weaves so beautiful with dance and music medicine. He helps people heal frequent issues of the gut, metabolism and tiredness.
