"I've long loved the intersection of music that is at once melodic, dark and fucking weird while still holding a groove. One of the bizarre silver linings about lockdown life was rediscovering this passion, particularly at slower, spacious tempos. So I couldn't possibly turn down the opportunity to throw together a mix for Tremulant exploring where their deeper, downtempo house vibes meet my global, radicalized acid explorations."

Tacoma, WA-based DJ/producer Devin Kelly (AKA Adlib) has been an unwavering techno activist for over 25 years. Whether it was through his humble beginnings in small town Idaho or his decade-plus residencies with the Shameless (Seattle) and Monkey Do (Los Angeles) DJ crews, he has long been at the center of the region’s dance music underground. His mixture of heady yet crowd rocking house and techno cuts earn him regular headlining spots at clubs, renegade parties and festival across the Western US and beyond. But he is best known for his co-creation of the legendary Esthetic Evolution music and arts festival and his long career as a political and community organizer. These backgrounds bring a sense of collective empowerment, resistance and celebration into all of his DJ sets and events. His newest project, “For Love and Struggle,” uses music, community and social commentary to bridge these worlds, because there are 33 revolutions on the turntable and one in the streets.

Luke Mandala - Devotion

This track is one of many I produced for the Porsche 75 Years Anniversary show in Zuffenhausen, Germany. For the show I developed a throughout consistent theme, that I adapted to each chapter. This is the soundtrack of the chapter "Zeitgeist", which was a showcase of Porsche's iconic design.

Happy to share this 12-2am set with you guys from one of the funnest events I've played in a while. They did a great job with this event and it fully popped off...as you can hear from the crowd (we recorded the crowd as well). 

I was playing some wind instruments and a drum pad and I'm finally getting a mix out that was recorded with a show with those instruments included.

Free Flow EP: The style of these tracks was brief departure from what usually do. I was experimenting with not thinking about what label or scene they would work with so much, more so that they would work with bigger sound systems and stages, often outdoor stages. Those stages allow for some bigger atmospheres and feels that may not work as well with smaller ones. The creative process was a sort of "Free Flow" that feels free and really pleasant. Luke’s dynamic live act includes playing a mixture of electronic and acoustic music while mixing in multiple live wind instruments and live drumming. His lifelong devotion to community dance medicine started at age 14 in 1998 when he started to DJ at northwest USA raveriffic events!
