Originally released by Musical Freedom, the instrumental edit of 19-year-old Oliver Heldens’ deep house smash ‘Gecko’ has become a staple in club sets for 2014, peaking at #2 in the Beatport chart and garnering support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Zane Lowe. 

The latest edit ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’, written and vocalled by Becky Hill during a late night recording session with MNEK, is being released by Parlophone’s vital new dance imprint FFRR. Initially written for another vocalist, Becky’s towering vocal on Gecko’s chorus was deemed the perfect fit and has already been coined the ‘Hottest Record in the World’ by Zane Lowe.

Another amazing two months has passed and I've been fortunate enough to play many of the best festivals/events around the world. Big love to every one of you that's attended one of the sets, you've all made it the best summer i've EVER had! <3

This mix contains 22 tracks from a variety of genres/sub genres which is just the way I like my mixtapes and just like 0714, this mix is one of my favourites so far... I laid down a lot of this mix 36,000 feet in the air on the way to Dubai and the idea's just kinda flowed, maybe it was the altitude!

This the result of 2 sessions at a writerscamp; The Voyagers worked with Haris to get the nice break with amazing vocals. And I worked with The Voyagers on the catchy groovy drop. Really happy with this track, the drop melody might be the one of the most catchy melody's I ever wrote and I love the fresh input by The Voyagers. Parlophone’s burgeoning dance imprint, FFRR, have confirmed their stance as one of the most exciting dance labels right with the latest single from Just Kiddin. Following the hugely successful FFRR release of Oliver Helden’s ‘Gecko’, Just Kiddin’s ‘Thinking About It’ sees a team up with influential dance channel Eton Messy. The track has so far clocked up an impressive 500,000 plays across Youtube and SoundCloud and been supported by Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Blonde, Bondax, Clean Bandit, Gorgon City, Hot Natured, Todd Edwards and Moon Boots since the track was secretly premiered as the opening track on The Magician’s ‘Magic Tape 41’. ‘Thinking About It’ is set for release on the 2nd November with remixes from Bearcubs and more to be announced.

After spending the first part of 2014 locked away in the studio, ‘Thinking About It’ is the first in a series of releases that expertly illustrate Just Kiddin’s honed-to-perfection production techniques - techniques that have come a long way since being introduced by XLR8R back in 2013 via their Intimacy EP on Nurvous Records. Since then, Just Kiddin have gone on to release on labels such as Black Butter and HK Records and their remix of Claptone’s smash ‘No Eyes’ was selected in Mixmag’s ‘Top 10 Exclusive Downloads of 2013’ and garnered a cool four million views on YouTube.

‘Thinking About It’ will be Eton Messy Records follow up release to Clean Bandit member Jack’s impressive side project Ribs.
