While each mix in the Selected Timbres series holds a special place in my heart, there will always be a few that stand out to me above the rest. Whether it's the selection, the mixing, or the person behind the mix, the list of favorites is inevitable. Much like the list of top mixes exist, my shortlist of dj's I want to invite has some extra special, special guests as well hehe ;)

Ulysses, or just Uly, has been one of my closest friends for nearly a decade, and holds the sole responsibility of introducing me to house music. Without the influence of my best friend, I might not have ever had the passion that the house scene has seen from me the last few years. I began my journey of support when Uly offered me a guest list spot in exchange for a ride (LOL) but that snowballed quickly into me providing promotional services for music that I love. He showed me that with a little bit of support, you can have a lasting impact on the career of an artist. 

The lasting impact of Ulysses on my interest in music is seen right here in this podcast series. Without him, there might not have ever been a Selected Timbres series.
