Poured my heart and soul out for SOTU's 8th anniversary, bringing in the sunrise, playing from 4.30am - closing. The music and crowd took me in various directions, from opening deep playa mood, building into some harder beats and crunchy basslines. As the sun came up, I moved into some groovier percussive stuff, indie, disco, deep house, disco, the full spectrum. I even played one of my own unreleased tunes 😎

Musically, I love the genre-blurring age we're in, where a djembe supports a 303 acid line, a brass section roars with a thumping kick, a 90s punk power chord riff screams with a punchy disco snare. My story as a DJ is to convey this multi-genre influence and inspiration, and this night was no different.

Huge love to the SOTU fam for having me, and the crowd for pumping and thumping til the very end. Until we dance again 💛
