Zac Stanton Delivers 'You Might Like It' EP on Do As You Please

Manchester's Do As You Please label continue their forward momentum with Zac Stanton's 'You Might Like It' EP, dropping December 5th. The three-track release sees Stanton exploring the tension between UK rave’s signature pull and house music's euphoric release - finding something fresh and gritty in the space between.

'Still Havin'', 'Touch Me', and the title track each take their own route, touching on classic UK bleep, jungle and acid influence. Stanton's production is precise without being clinical and playful without losing impact. These are tracks built for function but with enough personality to stick around after the night ends.

A familiar face in the DAYP family, Stanton has been part of the brand’s growth since its early days, consistently bringing both technical skill and genuine understanding of what actually works. His sets across Manchester have earned respect not through hype, but through delivery.

"Zac's been putting in the work for years," says Niall Roche, label head. "This EP captures where he's at right now – confident, refined, and making exactly the music he wants to make. That's what we're here for."

The 'You Might Like It' EP continues Do As You Please's trajectory of supporting artists who have something to say beyond the obvious. Seven years in, the label remains focused on the essentials: good music, real community, and letting the work speak for itself.

Our next VA pulls threads from Manchester, Lyon, New York, and Bristol; a cross-continental snapshot of the sounds shaping our world right now.

It opens in the shadows, with Steel Traxx and Product Toss delivering slow, murky cuts that set the foundation: heavy, cracked, and full of tension.

Things begin to shift as Manami, Maelita, and Mattik push into bass-driven territory. Low ends are refracted through their own lenses, building pressure and colour as the record unfolds.


The tone lifts as Sempra delivers UK-funky flair, all bright percussion and magical flute runs cutting through the weight. From there, disctr4k brings bumpy NY-garage-flavoured house, full of swing and cheeky momentum, before Direct Function closes the journey with warm, dub-soaked atmospheres that linger long after the final note.

A full-spectrum Skiptrace release — built from community, curiosity, and shared movement.

All proceeds from the release will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians.

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the incredible staff at Mikkeller Tórshavn for giving me the chance to share my music with the Faroe Islands.🙏🎶 Last night, I had the privilege of performing my new set in front of a crowd of nearly 200 people.🎤🙌 

This marks a major milestone in my early career, especially considering I’ve spent most of my time playing in underground clubs to much smaller audiences.🔥🎧

PAVÉ are a British rock band formed in Manchester in 2019. Blending the raw intensity of modern metal with soaring, pop-laced vocal melodies, the band has carved out a distinctive sound that cuts through the noise of the UK’s alternative scene. Known for their explosive live energy and unrelenting drive, PAVÉ have quickly emerged as one of the UK’s most exciting new rock acts.
In 2024, their debut EP Are We Above The Secrets We Keep marked a turning point, earning national attention through sold-out headline shows and 24 BBC Radio 1 airplays... That same year, they were named one of This Feeling’s Big in 2024 artists, securing slots at Isle of Wight and Truck Festival, and landing support shows with BONES UK, The Hara and SOAP.
Their momentum continued into 2025 with the release of the single Whatever The Cost, which earned the band their first major editorial playlist placements on both Spotify (Fresh Finds UK & Ireland) and Amazon Music (Breakthrough Rock), cementing their growing presence on streaming platforms. They were also selected as a Factory Sounds artist by Factory International, receiving financial backing, year-round mentorship, and sponsorship from Adidas. This October, the band hit the road again, joining The Sunday Sadness as main support for the UK leg of their European tour.
