Inspired by the golden era of house music, Dan Azzo's sets are a high-energy blend of thumping basslines, dramatic breaks, and uplifting builds that seamlessly mix the classic and contemporary, all while spotlighting the genre’s queer forebears.

His fluidity as both a selector and performer has filled dance floors across Australia and beyond, earning him support slots for legends like Carl Cox, Louie Vega, Todd Terry, Riva Starr, Kiddy Smile, and The Illustrious Blacks.

Already an established fixture on the Australian house music scene as a DJ, Azzo now releases his debut single, “Perfect Love,” featuring award-winning Papua New Guinea-born R&B and future soul singer-songwriter Ngaiire. Resonating deeply with true house aficionados, it has received support from The Blessed Madonna, Jamie Jones, Nic Fanciulli, and Defected Records.

A true figurehead in Sydney’s nightlife, Dan is a resident of Above at Ivy—Sydney's biggest and most iconic club. He has performed at Defected NYE and is scheduled for the upcoming Glitterbox Australasia tour. Audiences have also experienced his explosive house sets at Sydney Mardi Gras—the southern hemisphere’s biggest and longest-running LGBTQIA+ celebration—and internationally in London, Milan, and Amsterdam. His appearance at Amsterdam Pride, where he played on the iconic canals, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience surrounded by the energy of hundreds of thousands.
