The DIRTYBIRD crew havent even had time to take their counsellor uniforms to the dry cleaners post-Campout, but already theyre dishing out more bulletproof slabs of future-flexed acid house.

Will Clarke mans the controls: Making his Dirtybird debut in January with "Badness" on DIRTYBIRD 10, follwing up with "The Boogie Woogie" EP and lazer-snapping "808Frenzy" on "DIRTYBIRD BBQ - Grill$ons Revenge" collection, the bristly Bristol-based spandex enthusiast has enjoyed a beautiful summer with releases on Defected, Emerald City and Turbo and unforgettable shows across the US, Australia and Europe.

Returning to the label with the bulbous two-track EP "Turn It Up," Clarke does just that: Writhing in carnal groove simplicity, he taps into the roots of timeless, low-down, butt-wriggling house music with three obscene examples of strong-armed tech funk. "Can You Funk" punches with Breach-level hookiness, and Turn It Up does the loopy-loop with Dirtybirds trademark vocal trippiness. 

Keep it turned: Will Clarke has been one of 2015s most exciting and authentic house music success stories. We can thank DIRTYBIRD for that. Stay tuned for more very soon...

Made this edit right before my set at the legendary Trade during Miami Music Week 2016. A sleepless, euphoric weekend fueled by dance, sweat, and pure chaos. Inspired by the neon-soaked energy of Vice City and the timeless funk of Rick James & the Mary Jane Girls, I wanted to teleport that heat back to the dance floor. Miami was on fire, and this was my love letter to it.

Sound of The Underground is the first EP from Space Yacht co-founder, LondonBridge. To give the EP some context, LB was sidelined for six months with a broken knee as a result of a motorcycle accident. In that time, he put all his energy in to recovery and producing music. The EP is made for the dance floor mixing current tech house styles with classic house grooves. Fans of Dirtybird and Bunny Tiger will defiantly vibe to the Sound Of The Underground EP

LondonBridge - Sound Of The Underground

Fisher debuted “Ya Kidding” at the beginning of the Summer and it took a life of it’s own. It was perpetually in the top 10 for months, one of the most Shazamed tracks in Ibiza & UK through the festival season, took over multiple chart positions around the globe, and included an official video featuring an epic shoe-off, and became one of the biggest songs of 2017. 

With a track that strong as your first record, it was going to be a hard act to follow. Fortunately, Fisher’s sophomore release “Oi Oi” puts all those fears to rest. 

Leading off the EP is “Stop It”—the already infamous ‘roller coaster song’ that fans ask us about daily. The marriage of the track’s bassline and one sentence verse combine for an attention-grabbing single that raises the energy exponentially no matter where it’s played.

“Ya Didn’t” adds a funky bass bounce to a heavy synth stab, and a big buildup that cements Fisher’s reputation as a monster of the party.

Dirtybird loves funky ghetto tracks - it’s like our kryptonite. “Get Dat” from Gettoblaster and DJ Funk is a prime example why. The Chicago natives are skilled in turning just a few drums and some vocal bits into infectious jams that move every bone in your body. 

The pair of artists have been playing warehouse parties and touring together since the 90’s, before reuniting at Dirtybird Campout West Coast 2017. They rekindled the connection, met in the studio, Funk recorded a bunch of vocal tracks, Gettoblaster banged out the drums, and “Get Dat” was born.

Black V Neck - Dirtybird Campout 2019 Mix Series

A renegade rave at the state lines with dual headliners FSOM and Andy Rantzen.

Architects of the Future Sound of Melbourne, FSOM reigned as their city’s scene evolved from underground clubs to vast waterfront wonderlands, alternating between playing studio tracks off cassette and jamming live. The combination of Josh Abrahams, Davide Carbone and Steve Robbins, the trio slipped a DAT to Belgian touring artist Frank De Wulf who signed them for their first international release on Two Thumbs. Track 6’s sinister bassline and mind obliterating stabs continued to travel as a staple of Sven Väth and John Wink’s record bags. 1993 to eternity.  

Andy Rantzen’s Harmonic Eye speaks a similar vocabulary. Running parallel to FSOM in Sydney, Rantzen united the masses with Paul Mac as Itch-E + Scratch-E, producing crystalline rave, cheeky breakbeat and techno resistance. Lifted off his downtempo 1999 solo CD The Blue Hour, Harmonic Eye is a certified warehouse burner of alarming alien bleep and widescreen trance. Once you were blind, now you can see.
