Sour Edits, is a label that without doubt has brought so much foot tapping, head nodding happiness into this world. Every floor driven release has managed to crack a wry smile in everyone over at Four Heads HQ when we routinely unearth these releases; even the accounting department on the most solemn of Mondays when the lacklustre Q4 numbers are rolling in.

The issue is, is that circa 70% (predictions based on real-time data collected by our GDPR compliant operatives) of you will be listening to this, perhaps alone, perhaps with headphones on. If this is you, yes you, this is not the optimum enjoyment level for this tune. As your advisor, potential friend and definite Soundcloud ally you must cast down these shackles and head out - to fun, to friends , to life itself.

Open your eyes, open your ears… Catz ‘N Dogz return with their final transmission of 2018 and it’s all about the core fundamentals that brought every single one of us here today. The big three: Friendship, trust and love. Without them none of us thrive. Life can’t be enjoyed. Progress can’t be made. 
It’s the message of Greg and Voitek’s Music Manifesto last year. It’s the message they’ve lived and worked by since before their days as 3 Channels: stay curious, have faith in others, appreciate life. Take what you do seriously, but don’t take life seriously… How we live it is ‘The Choice’ we all have to make. 
A bold statement against insular club culture, closed minds and lack of innovation, ‘The Choice’ continues Catz ‘N Dogz positive broadcasts with the help of Miss Bunty and three great friends on remix duties. Bunty instantly flips us back 25 years to a warehouse in New Jersey with a soulful, provocative sermon about the best things in life, people and places. She wraps herself tightly around a thumping, grainy jacking acid beat creating instant uplift, focus and a lesson we should all aspire to. 
Her powerful delivery works just as effectively over all remixes. Belgian Beton returns to Pets with a darker, rippling rhythm that drops its anchor in the timeless techno abyss while Bawrut continues the rich vein of form he’s developed on Ransom Note with a caustic frenzy of breaks, acid and raw, gut-wrenching sirens. Finally we have Soul Notes and Shall Not Fade affiliate Adryiano close the case. Laying down a bed of peppy organs, he creates a fittingly classic garage vibe for Bunty to sign out to. Open your eyes, open your ears. “The Choice” is yours!

For Cliff's second offering off the back of a tasty first, Belgian @RickyRazu joins the clique, after a successful debut record on Houseum Records. 

Ricky's productions, are clearly profoundly influenced by his background in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Boogie, and Disco and have earned him a solid fanbase thus far. Expect an energetic house driven EP, featuring mellow sax and piano sounds, lush drumwork, and deep basslines - a definite companion for poolsides and dance-floors alike.
