Based out of Vienna, Austria. He's 1/3 of the great @editionhawara label which have re-issued some great records over the last five years or so with a focus on long forgotten Jazz, Soul & Funk.

Here with the self titled 'Reports from the heart' he takes us on a wondrous journey through soothing balearic ambience, jazzy interludes and emotional island pop best served slouching in a deck chair with a cold glass of your choosing. Enjoy :)

I found an old iPod a couple of days ago and on top of a ton of old mixes and tracks I found this set I put together for the @balearicsocial crew up in Leeds in 2012. That's 13 years ago! I don't think this one's online anymore, so here it is once again, freshly transferred from the depths of arcane technology. 

It goes all over the place: Ambient, tribal, soul, downtempo, left-field, kosmiche, jazz and into very loose territory! I really enjoyed hearing these records again, and I hope you dig it too. Big shout to Andy Pye and all the Yorkshire Balearic ultras!
