DJ/Producer's Joe Wilson and Simon Knowles have collaborated on productions and remixes such as Todd Terry-Play On, Who Da Funk-Shiny Disco Balls and Tyra B- Givin’ Me a Rush. You can find and download their latest tracks from www.bigtunesmp3.co.uk and http://shop.eckorecords.co.uk/.

They have also teamed up to play back to back DJ sets at events such as SOMA, HABIT, Superbad, DAFT and have most recently secured a residency at the newest event in Leeds, RANDOM at Mezz every Saturday night.

DJing for 6 years, Joe Wilson is a self taught DJ/Producer and has developed his passion for music through a number of genres; his musical interests include Electro, Funky House, Deep House, Jackin House and UK Garage. His enthusiasm for DJing has found him featuring at venues such as Space, Mission, The Mint Club, The Factory, FIRE, Bed (Formally Gatecrasher), Phono, Mezz, Fibre and many more. 

Joe has been inspired by DJ’s such as Fedde Le Grand, Armand Van Helden, DJ EZ and Todd Terry. He has also had his name featured alongside DJ’s like Rob Tissera, Artful Dodger, The Scratch Perverts, Hardwell and Kim Fai.

With 16 years experience behind the decks, Simon Knowles has grown and adapted his musical skills and knowledge, playing in some of Northern England’s biggest clubs and bars such as Atrium, Heaven and Hell,  Mission , Space, Rehab, The Mint Club, Bed (formally Gatecrasher),  Fire,  Mezz and Tokyo’s just to name a few.  He has also taken his DJing expertise overseas to destinations like Ibiza, Greece and Tenerife.  In turn his name has been featured on line ups with DJ Luck and MC Neat, The Wideboys, Rob Tissera, The Scratch Perverts, Hardwell and Kim Fai.

His rounded musical knowledge has been developed through his love for UK Garage, House Classics, Electro and Jackin House, his inspiration has come from DJ’s such as DJ EZ and Eddie Halliwell. In recent years Simon has also produced tracks and remixes. One of his latest remixes of the infamous Wideboys classic ‘If You Want to Party’ has been supported and played up and down the country by The Wideboys Duo themselves.
