Following the success of previous vinyl ‘Heavy Rotation’ EP by Him_Self_Her, next Sex Panda White one is the way again.
This time label presents German masters of combining nu-disco and deep house vibes, the project which has created a reputation of a fast and properly growing project, especially after having storming beatport deep house charts with their releases on OFF Recordings (My House) – Dresden based Purple Disco Machine and their ‘Need Someone’ EP.
Original is soft and melodic, smooth and attractive, you can't be wrong while playing it.
A side is closed by Funkpony Records labelhead - Heston - Toolroom Records artist and just a quality producer from Britain with his ‘Need Someone’ version. Dirty and uncompromised, you will find it interesting to give a play.
B-side opens new talents - Nurvous Records’ scarlet Jamie Antonelli, who is lucky to be remixed by MK for his very first track, goes into deep side of the track. Squareness, simplicity and melody – three words to give a short review of the remix.
Label heads Marcato & Tiny Toon are filling the B-side. Their heavy bassline remix filed with massive high hat sections shows guys versatility of the music they do.
Pure funkiness, real jewel and just a good thing to play – that’s Sex Panda White as usual!

Having had his music on Sudbeat, Hope, and Renaissance, plus touring the globe as a DJ, as well as his monthly radio show and reviews for Tilllate Magazine, Darin really is on the top of his game and at the forefront of his musical sound. Valencia is a deep warm winner, and from the start, you can feel the quality oozing as the journey begins. The melodies are subtle but draw you in, as this track effortlessly meanders through peaks and troughs of sounds that tinkle and float. The main break encapsulates you before releasing the final smile-inducing drop. Remix duties start with the ever talented Jamie Stevens. The likeable Australian, best known from his Infusion days, has been producing for microCastle, Sudbeat, and Bedrock, as well as running his own label Chameleon Recordings. He retains the housey feel of the original, but with an injected funk and swagger that drives along beautifully. The remix swerves in a wonkier, yet still melodic direction. Its bleeps and arps work a treat, guiding the dancefloor to a frenzy right up until the breakdown, before the final uplifting moment when the bass kicks back in. Greek producer Ioannis Ntouskos aka Dousk completes the package. His enormous discography covers a wide range of musical styles and includes labels such as Bedrock, Global Underground, Vapour, plus dozens more. Fresh off the back of his "Revelations" track, Audio Noir serves up another round of progressive goodness with his two tracker entitled "Floorlicker".

The title track sets us off on a wonderful trip through surreal progressive grooves. The intro creates a vibrant atmosphere as the vocal samples and FX clash alongside a superb thumping kick. Danceable rhythms are built with the aid of a fantastic percussion arrangement and on the break the track transforms into full on progressive meltdown. A chest pounding baseline pulsates through the sound as a cool riff moves alongside. Such a dynamic groove here which will get a lot of attention.

"Fibre Feelings" intros with a myriad of percussion instruments amalgamating to form a diverse rhythm. The beat gets rocking with the kicks coming through accompanied by a monstrous baseline and well crafted FX. The track intensifies and a huge wall of sound erupts, raiding the senses with a very complex groove, top stuff.

Audio Noir - Floorlicker (Bonzai Progressive)

Flembaz are Joao Bandarra and Pedro Freitas, the guys teamed up in 2011 in Lisbon, Portugal. They are an eclectic duo who like to play around with different genres ranging from playful beats to deep creative techno and progressive. Here they mark their Bonzai debut with the two tracker "Cafe EP". 

"Cafe" sets off on a sublime journey through progressive sounds with an infusion of tech thrown in. Beautiful chunky kicks set the scene perfectly with a baseline that will have any woofer quaking. A nice round of percussions keep a cool flowing rhythm as warm synth pads fade through on top of a short vocal sample. Techy synths begin to form as the track intensifies carving out a sure fire hit with many DJ's.

"Quinalle Express" takes a subtle approach to the intro before a huge kick comes slamming through and bringing with a massive sub bass that will reverberate through your body. Expertly crafted percussions knit a steady rhythm and some wonderful flute/pipe type sounds peek through giving a stark contrast. Very cool track indeed and one that will fit many sets.

Ironically, I road-tested this during the depths of winter and it got a great reaction from the off. I can’t wait to continue spinning this over the coming months when its summery vibe will truly come into its own.”

Such an auspicious tune deserves an auspicious remixer, so who better than the prolific Steve Mac? His driving interpretation brings an extra dimension to the package; a steroid-fuelled belter, perfect for the start of festival season, big rooms or peak times, which means - sunrise to sunset - ‘7 Days’ is all set to be an essential part of your future clubbing soundtrack.
