2019 was our best year as Smalltown, with releases on Fools Gold and Box Of Cats and some of our favorite shows to date. It was also the end of the decade, and our Best Of 2019 mix has an incredible batch of tunes on it to round out the last 10 years of these mixes. From Four Tet to Jai Paul and the Chemical Brothers, there was so much great music to came out this year. Luke the Knife is the solo producer/DJ project of Luke Miller (keyboards/guitar in the band Lotus). The project mixes Disco, Funk, House, and Downtempo into a euphoric dance party. Based out of Denver, CO Luke the Knife has performed at festivals like Electric Forest, Euphoria, and alongside artists such as STS9, Goldroom, and Poolside. With a musician's ear, his seamless mixes and tight productions bring a fresh air to the electronic sound.
