Kimber & I decided that this would be a perfect accompaniment for the Ashtanga Mysore monthly challenge kick-off; a monthly challenge to keep students active in their daily practice. These sets are always exciting & interesting to put together as they require some pretty unique & creative transitions, as well as maintaining a structure that works within Kimber’s practice. The further I dive into these grounding drum patterns & mesmerizing melodies, the more I increasingly recognize that this unexplored realm is where my passion should truly reside. "10 years of Bliss Coast and the journey goes on. Each year has been a monumental effort and my long-term goal to achieve 10 volumes comes to completion with the release of Muse & Marvel. Over the years many fans have told me how much they still love volume 1, Grass & Gospel. So to round out the series I decided to revisit the year one theme and produce another set of bluegrass and gospel songs refreshed for the festival dancefloor and maximum smiles. It was such a pleasure to perform this along side my biggest supporter and wife Rebecca. Thanks to everyone who joined us for that wonderful experience and to everyone beyond listening now. Luke the Knife is the solo producer/DJ project of Luke Miller (keyboards/guitar in the band Lotus). The project mixes Disco, Funk, House, and Downtempo into a euphoric dance party. Based out of Denver, CO Luke the Knife has performed at festivals like Electric Forest, Euphoria, and alongside artists such as STS9, Goldroom, and Poolside.
