Zero T wäre eigentlich 2020 unser Gast in der Distillery gewesen, doch dann kam Corona dazwischen. Zum Glück konnten wir seinen Gig wenigstens zwei Jahre später im April 2022 nachholen. Kurze Zeit später veröffentlichte er sein Album auf North Quarter und nun freuen wir uns, euch den Mitschnitt seines Sets in der Distillery als Podcast präsentieren zu können.

Studio mix, 1210's, vinyl, no MC, 80 min. The 1st track was copied from Nookie's radio show (hence the jingles, low quality) after that it's all vinyl. Starts off a bit jungle, then into Nookie-Bukem-Fabio styles, Alex Reece Pulp Fiction, Miles from Home (nights at Logical Progression, the End) deep rolling subs, two step beats, soulful n jazzy with some deeper Moving Shadow sounds and early liquid vibes.

I simply recorded the 1st track from Nookie's ministry of sound radio show. I mixed into that first track with vinyl and it's all me from there on. I love that 1st track but  could never find out what it was called or who made it, and I just had to start a mix with it.

Sam Binga has graced the NEST HQ archives for years due to his unparalleled flair in the drum and bass space, breaking out into a plethora of new avenues (check out his 'Champion' EP with Rider Shafique for a dancehall fix) with a fresh take on the most important electronic genres. He finished off 2018 strong with a slew of his own projects and contributions to compilations like the latest from Critical Music, but 2019 seems to be an even bigger year for Sam Binga with what's to come. Not only did he deliver a scorching hot mix for today's installment, but he gave us over an hour of material as opposed to our usual 30-minute madness.
