Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Tobias Spratley, also know as, Alpha Roméo is a true city boy. Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, Alpha always had a thing for music and dance. Alpha has been writing music since 7, with his first song being about Selena Gomez, who Alpha had a crush on at the time. In school, Alpha was always a great and creative writer, he uses these skills in his music. He played football until he fractured his spine his freshmen year, Making him start to pursue music heavily, using creative ways to record (earphones with microphones attached), instead of going to a studio. His first song, "Do it by Yourself" was a dance song that got him notoriety in town in 2015. Though he never stopped writing, he did stop recording until 2019. After Releasing "Cut up", a new twerk song, in June, he has not stopped dropping music and participating in multiple shows (ShowUp2BlowUp, The Camel, The Top). He was also featured on the radio station The Dinnerplate. These shows and meetings have taken place in Richmond, Virginia, where he has met multiple local names and big names, like Yunglan. Back in Kentucky for 2020, Alpha is looking to keep the energy going!!
