This mix floats in the void of a steady march with some intriguing emerging ideas as well as an unreleased track with signature Netburner sampling & techy goodness.

"l've been really interested in mixes and songs that have a bit of push-pull to them like the intensity or feeling of the song isn't always building directly towards being more energetic or more intense.  It has a bit of a push-pull feel to it or like ebb & flow so that's what I wanted to do with this mix.  It starts off a little bit more minimal before getting fuller towards the middle and then stripping back towards the end, with little peaks in between."

"This mix is a very personal affair in that it tries to convey our understanding of music as a manifold without sharply defined boundaries. Though we sometimes overthink by trying to embed it into a web of well-defined criteria, we both think it's important to just let music go. There is a certain aspect to this which seems impossible to put into words - barring poems or novels maybe - because it is felt and not rationalized. 

The frustration with trying to put it into words somehow resulted in a mix starting at our nearest source of music, the cacophony of civilized society, ending in our oldest and most fundamental source of music, nature. The soundscapes describe the continuous transition of sounds, melodies and noises associated with a civilized environment from early in the morning up to late at night. The mix then proceeds to describe the same, inevitable course of events in a different, more natural environment (in fact, we take a train to get there). 

Interestingly, people (ourselves included) tend to skip the first part because they find it unpleasant (roughly up to 1.30 for a heads up). Does that say something about us? Maybe. "
