Its Friday night and we set sail on our bikes to find Robot Heart deep Playa. Once we arrived we landed on the bus with a view of the moon just peaking over the horizon. Slowly it starts to rise and it gets bigger with every step up, reaching for the sky. Blood orange, some of us were confused, was this the moon? This was the biggest I'd ever seen her and as soon as I saw this magnificent sight, something came over me…. just let myself go. This may be, the Soul of the World.

Niki Sadeki is a Vancouver-based DJ and musician. From raiding her parents’ record collection when she was just a child, to becoming resident at Vancouver’s MIA, Niki has continuously been living with the music in the forefront. Within a very short time, she has put herself on the map as an up and coming female DJ. 

Niki conveys her expression of life to listeners and engages crowds through her live sets when she’s behind the decks , and through dozens of podcasts and studio mixes. Her sets have been described as musical journeys, charming listeners and at the same time inviting them to dive into their own individual world of sensations. 

Niki is the host of Allure on Frisky Radio which airs every 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Be Svendsen gets set to release the enchanting Twilight in Tankwa on Rebellion following his successful remix of NU’s Man O To on sister label Crosstown Rebels. Remix treatment comes courtesy of Berlin native Nico Stojan. 
 
Twilight in Tankwa is a mystical and musical journey that Be Svendsen explains “is the result of decades long intimate relationship with outdoor rhythmic dance experience. The foundation of the track is rooted in a synth hook from the early 50's. The vocal, inspired by a barbershop quartet, work to give it the character of a true desert hymn."
 
The remix comes from Nico Stojan who twists a fresh melody into the original over driving undertones. Having honed his musical style as resident at the infamous Bar25 in Berlin, he has also released on labels like Highgrade, Connaisseur and Upon You records.
 
Equally alluring, second original track Scarecrow was brought about by AYAWAKE who wrote and recorded the vocals. He generously passed on to Be who honored it as the crown work of his cowboy-tech-tribute to the Ennio Morricone soundtracks of the late 60's. 
Be Svendsen aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn.

Art: Identity Reorganization Portal - Michael Emery 

Identity Reorganization Portal is a steel gazebo-like structure. The portal’s footprint is narrow and circular with a diameter of 48″. Its total height is 11′. The entire structure, covered with thousands of small irregularly-cut mirrors, shines from a distance. Unable to avoid shiny objects, myriads of Black Rock citizens will be drawn closer only to find their own reflections scattered, reorganized and blended with the reflection of others nearby. This installation endeavors to raise important questions in the group mind about the nature of Identity. Passing through the center of the portal reveals one’s reflection now compressed by the inner concave nature of these mirrored walls. Two lighted buttons inside the portal activate a random set of verbal instructions for successful identity reorganization. Identity Reorganization Portal is designed to be a gauntlet thrown down before the apparent solidity of the assumed “I”.

Terrakroma - has certainly carved out a niche in time with their unique playful sound. Armando Kroma is one of the founders of the collective, their music is mainly composed of electronica that maintains a balance between organic and a synthesized sound, deep basses and a progressive electronic influence, very unique in its style, experimenting with an organic arrangement of psychedelic sounds. Terrakroma's music has a wide range of influences and it's reaching far and out, working with major labels and artists. Seit langer Zeit suchen wir nach einem Ort der vollkommen ist und Glückseligkeit verspricht; dem Paradies auf Erden. Früher vermutete man ihn jenseits der großen Meere. Da, wo das Auge aufhörte zu sehen, begann die Fantasie die Gedanken der Menschen zu beflügeln. So fand sich der Garten Eden auch auf mittelalterlichen Karten wieder. Der große Kolumbus bestätige nach der Überquerung des Atlantik sogar die Vermutungen. An der Küste Venezuelas will er untrügliche Anzeichen dafür gefunden haben, dass das Paradies ganz in der Nähe ist. Venezuela zählt heute tatsächlich zu den Ländern mit den glücklichsten Einwohner der Erde, aber die Suche nach dem irdischen Paradies auf der Landkarte wurde mittlerweile aufgegeben. 
Sowohl Kolumbus als auch seine Entdecker-Kollegen waren nicht in der Lage das gelobte Land ausfindig zu machen. Das Paradies kann also leider nicht per Pauschalreise oder Billigflieger besichtigt werden. Es ist nicht im Atlas zu finden und kann nicht mit Hilfe von Geld erreicht werden. Andere Kulturen gehen daher davon aus, dass dieser mythische Ort in jedem von uns ist. Im walisischen Keltisch gibt es dafür den Ausdruck „Hieraeth“. Es beschreibt ein tiefes Gefühl der Sehnsucht nach der Heimat, die man verloren hat. Eine Art Heimweh nach einem Ort, wo man niemals gewesen ist. Einem Ort der nur in unseren Gedanken existiert. Den wir kreiert und durch unsere Wünsche mit Leben gefüllt haben. Dort fühlen wir uns wohl und geborgen, denn es ist unser Reich. Und jeder kann es so formen, wie es ihm beliebt. Der Schlüssel zur Pforte in diese himmlische Welt ist die Musik. Wenn sie unseren Körper durchströmt und wir die Augen schließen, trägt sie uns ins irdisches Paradies!   

Lasst euch von Dole und Kom den Weg zeigen. Die Berliner Produzenten haben mit ihrer deep story den Schlüssel für Abenteuer in eurer vollkommenen Welt geschaffen. Schließt die Augen und lasst euch von der Musik führen!
