Previously spotted remixing the bossmen Catz ‘n Dogz’ 2016 single ‘Nobody Cares’ on the label, Psychemagik’s ‘Rattlesnake’ is the duo’s debut Pets single and it lives up to its deadly name. Sliding into the dance with all the stealth and funk venom its name suggests; the bite comes midway as the fatal secondary bassline kicks in with a Cobra Kai finishing move that will leave your dancefloor out for the count. It’s loaded with two equally lethal remixes as the label welcome two more debuts from pit vipers old and new; Magda bites hard with a poisonous futuristic funk roll-out while Vyvyan continues their anonymous attack with a fantastic cosmic twist and a build up that rattles like a whole army of Crotalus.

Following their 2018 collaboration Jano, producers Joe Red & Paul Darey reunite for their slamming debut Retrospective EP on Solardo’s Sola label who have been championing the rising talent.

A two-track weapon, Retrospective EP kicks off with haunting synth lines that proceed into a weighty breakdown spanning the realms of tech house, acid house and techno. Meanwhile, Can You Play To My Beat leans into more uplifting territories boasting grumbling vocals that weave amongst vivacious throttles and soaring lasers. 

Hailing from Mallorca, Joe Red has garnered support world wide whilst shaking the dance floors of renowned venues including Sankeys Ibiza, BCM and many others. His intricate originals have also seen him release on the likes of Toolroom, Defected and others as well as receiving continued DJ backing from heavyweights, Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet among others.  With an array of releases that have landed in the Beatport Top 10, the Retrospective EP is sure to a hold similar fate. 

Elsewhere, Paul Darey has cemented himself on the scene since his breakthrough with Roger Sánchez at the Release Yourself pre-party at Café Mambo. Since his rise, Paul has graced labels including Cr2, Defected, Deeperfect and many more with this Sola release marking his first impressive release of 2019.

That moment of the year has arrived again and this August, elrow Music is bringing its staple compilation for summer: VA Off Ibiza 2019! This time with a staggering 10 track list, with some of the best and most promising artists in the scene, elrow Music has upped up the ante with this amazing collection of songs. Names as DJ Fronter, Manu Gonzalez and Shaf Husee, Miguel Lobo or Anabel Sigel are just a few examples of the huge talent we have scouted for you, our dearest crowd! Opening up this 2019 instalation of our Off Ibiza compilation, we have our good friends Alaia & Gallo with their 'Check It Out (Original Mix)', a true tech-house affair, with a nice vibe to open up with positive energies. Later on, we have DJ Fronter's 'Chitown (Original Mix)', which change the vibe completely, slowing down and demonstrating with his staple minimalism, that things can be done in a different way in this genre.

Just after it, we have Manu Gonzalez & Shaf Huse's 'Yollow (Original Mix)', in which the team manages to create a progressive and deep vibe throughout the track, breaking into a total soulful madness thanks to those great female vocals, FX and melody treatment. Then, another big Spanish promise, Miguel Lobo, steps up with his 'Change Position (Original Mix)', a track that brings us back to the early 90s progressive sounds, with some acid treatment and a sexy vocal that sets the mood of the track. Finally, closing the comp, we have Anabel Sigel's 'Miss Wallace (Original Mix)', a track in which the Spanish newfound jewel unleashes all her production skills into a real banger, taking her time to build momentum in the track, with great care for detail overall.

Spanish artist Cuartero returns to Hot Creations this June with his infectious grooves to deliver the fiery two-tracker What Luv, marking his fourth release on the revered imprint.

Title track What Luv is built for the peak-time dancefloor. Familiar vocal stabs compliment the intricate percussion and underlying emotive chords that meld into a frenzied breakdown. On the flip, Open Ended swings and bounces with intermittent blips and faint vocal whispers. A trippy, minimal number to roll you into the early hours.

Sanity boss Cuartero began producing at the age of fifteen and shot onto the world stage in 2012, DJing over five continents and releasing on labels such as Desolat, Moon Harbour, Saved, Circus and Hot Creations. In 2015 he was named Best Newcomer DJ at the DJ Awards and in 2017 he won Best Tech House Artist and Artist Of The Year at the Vicious Music Awards.

Silk & Fuss debut on Solid Grooves Raw with their latest single, 'Funky Freddy'.

Emerging duo Sulk & Fuss are one of the latest rising acts from within the rich Dutch house scene to be gaining some serious momentum having featured for the likes of ANTS at Amsterdam's renowned Kingsland Festival whilst running their radio show 'Silk & Fuss' Finest', hosting a range of artists including Solid Grooves residents Bassel Darwish and
Ramin Rezaie.
