After traveling to Central America BELLY DANCE SERVICES continues their journey further south: The fifteenth release of the Austro Turkish label is called TZANTZA. A genius joint venture between RANDOM ATLAS from Santiago de Chile and MARZIAN from Buenos Aires. The EP features saxophone player JOSÉ PEDRO CÓRDOVA as well as remixers CORNELIUS DOCTOR and OBERST & BUCHNER!

EP name giver TZANTZA is an epic piece of story telling filled with lively percussions, charming saxophone play and a captivating baseline. If this track were a movie it would be the latino version of Stranger Things directed by David Lynch.

The remix of TZANTZA comes from one of Viennas finest couples: OBERST & BUCHNER. Currently working on their album the co-heads of HEIMLICH MUSIC carved out a crunchy synthi stomper that brings extra pleasure to every room.

With their second original track BARRICADA the admirable trio from South America again proves their willingness to tear down barriers between traditional disciplines of electronic dance music. Therefore they simply just had to also give birth to a club version of this alluring obscurity. 

At last french producer CORNELIUS DOCTOR added his unique touch to BARRICADA. The co-head of Lyons HARD FIST RECORDS checks in with a floor filler or no, let’s call it a fancy boredom killer!

Discos Capablanca return with a record from the mysterious Detroit-based Sharif Laffrey (we know little more than his place of birth, and that he likes to ride his bike and warm weather) who brings the heat on the Turn It Up 12". Recorded in Detroit in the late 80s and released on a cassette tape compilation in 1988, the original "Turn It Up" is a long forgotten gem from the period that Electro was beginning to morph and mutate into nascent forms of Techno. Excavated by Hugo Capablanca's label, the track is presented in an edited version that stays true to the original and complemented by an Acid Dub Not Dub version that implements plenty of deranged 303 action.

Info: “N.B.I.C.” – Nanotechnologies – Biotechnologies – Information Technologies – Cognitive Sciences – after their inaugural release “Endless Sunday” in 2022 via Thisbe, Nomenklatür are back on the label with a bang. Indeed, N.B.I.C. gathers 3 original tracks that perfectly blend the minimalist electro and dark techno genres that characterized the sound of the French duo from Paris. The EP, that also features the singles “Anywhere Out of The World” and “Feier der Gestirne”, depicts a chilling world, where human kind is heading to a permanent connection to the grid, without any interruption. Ever. There is no coming-back from it, no more control on anything…Will we be reaching that stage in the near future?

If you listen closely to the music and are mindful of the feelings and emotions conveyed by it, it might indeed be a plausible scenario. Food for thought, music for thought. The immersion into Nomenklatür´s latest production is real.


The EP is completed by a remix by Bonkers Music´s head Ludviq. The Barcelona-based artist brings in his singular sound by reworking the single “Anywhere Out of The World”, transporting the listener into a more psychedelic and New Beat universe, to the greatest delight of the aficionados of Ludviq´s trademark sound.
