After his debut on Kaputt.wav with his track 'Two Worlds', Mufti, the Mexican dungeon master, returns with his first solo EP 'Eyes Shuttered' for the Colombian imprint. 

With a transaortic and hypnotic growl that develops and grows throughout, the single 'Eyes shuttered' sets the tone for a dance in the night or in the woods through clever synthesis, mist, and the words, ''I summon, a creature in disguise, eyes shuttered in the middle of the dark' — definitely one of Mufti's polished works.

For his second single, Mufti picks up his guitar and turns on the distortion to drive us to the different paths of 'Desires' in his characteristic musical style.

"Eyes shuttered "also has taken two different ways by being remixed for two incredible and top notch producers.

'DC Salas', the Belgium & Peruvian master, goes full-on Gotham style and releases the chains of the dark creature in his take of the single.

On the other hand, 'Mishell' from Tel Aviv turn up the bass and swing it like only he does in his minimalistic way.

Hailing from Oslo, Norway, Trulz Kvam and Robin Crafoord have so much in common when it comes to music that they are like “one person with four arms in the studio”. Despite having particular influences, the two friends ace in seaming their individualities and mutualities together in order to deliver their characteristic sonority.

Featuring nine originals plus two Club Edits of “Inside Of Me” and “U Get Some” and one Instrumental Mix of “This Is Love”, their forthcoming album, “Out of Sync”, coming soon on Snick Snack Music, is a true showcase of the duo’s capabilities and inventiveness and embraces as many House Music styles as you can possibly imagine plus a couple of impossible-to-pigeonhole stuff, like the theme we were solicited to premiere.

“Divine Electricity” is an intricate and out-of-the-box cut with a powerful attitude triggered by its invigorating breakbeat gait and heavy acid atmosphere. The icing on the cake is the unyielding vocals by Chuc Frazier.

Melómana opens the year with a compilation that brings together producers who have marked and defined the musical orientation of the label. Its reference 039 is not only a testimony of long-term work, it is also the announcement of what is to come this year 2024.

The compilation brings together songs by artists such as Panka Panka, Azaria, Yahaira, JGR, Jackwasfaster, Ludviq, Nick Hanzo, Macaulay, Mijo, Pastor in Vegas, Rubinskee, Ademarr, Joseeph. Established talents on the scene, as well as emerging projects, offering an approach as designed for the track as it is for home listening. Altogether, we find fused rhythms and rich soundscapes that lead us to an exploration as fluid as it is captivating. The album offers us a dynamic contrast that shows the versatility of a timeless project, created from talent, meticulousness and sonic coherence.The level of production of these guys is intense but, on the other hand, the care of the sounds they release is at the level of those who do things because they want and with the time they really need. The tracks have strength and jump over the prevailing conventions, knowing how to avoid the most recurrent rawness and darkness, seeking dance but without predictable tricks and without exceeding an understandable level of experimentation suitable for the dance floor.

We could say that each producer summarizes their intentions in this compilation, seeking novelty without losing nostalgia, that they play with the genre but without falling into predictable tricks, nor into the arrogance of those who get wrapped up in a genre or mannerism to demonstrate that They have personality. And this is just the beginning, because this year Melómana is going to bring us many surprises.
