After the successful launch of Moisees & Zea's "Recuerdo Futuro" on the "Year IV" compilation, we have decided to re-release it as an EP, now loaded with a new original cut called “Ondas” and remixes by Theus Mago, Mystery Affair, and Ludviq & Rina.
Both original tracks reflect Moisees & Zea’s nostalgia for a past not lived, rave memories created by book stories, old flyers, and nineties movies. The opening cut, "Recuerdo Futuro", is driven by rumbling kick drums, melted vocals, and sinister stabs. Next is, "Ondas", combines house pianos, solid drums, acid sounds, and dreamy vibes. Definitely, both tracks are dancefloor killers.
The first remix is made by Theus Mago, one of the most talented producers in Mexico and founder of Duro label with Moisees, who comes up with a "sexy" and quite groovy version. Followed by the Mexican star Mystery Affair, who lands with an acid remix. Finally, we have a new collaboration between Ludviq & Rina, with a darker and deeper remix, featuring hypnotic and mystical vocals, perfect to close the EP.
Moisees & ZEA's "Recuerdo Futuro" will be available on May 3rd. The EP is well crafted and offers some unique sounds while maintaining a cohesive theme and vibe. It's a testament to creativity and collaboration, definitely one of our best releases.

His “Many Times” EP presents Ian adding more flavours to his already miscellaneous sonority, “a testament to Ian's versatility and skill as a producer” and a true showcase of his creativity and “ability to captivate listeners with a dynamic range of sounds and atmospheres.” On board with equally competent remixes, Al Mackenzie, Ben Hunt, and Julius.

Premiered here, Al Mackenzie’s take on the title track also depicts the capabilities and influences of the seasoned British DJ and producer who has been fighting the good fight for more than 30 years – and counting! Managing to keep most of the main elements of the original but deploying his personal touch with more speed and stamina, Al’s version is definitely a secret weapon for packed dance floors eager for intelligent electronic music.

EP04 is the latest release from a unique project that fuses organic biological data with cutting-edge artificial intelligence, exploring the boundaries of modern electronic music production. This four-track EP documents a deep dive into the darker, more intense side of minimal tech house.
The Concept: Nature Meets Machine

The foundation of every track on EP04  originates from a single source: a raw audio clip ("Clip 3") recorded from the bio-generated electrical signals of a living plant. This organic input was then processed and fed into an AI generation system, forming the core bassline of the EP.

The Experiment: Manipulating Harmonic DNA

The tracks on the EP are the result of a controlled sonic experiment. We maintained a consistent sonic template—dry, stripped-down production using classic Roland 909 drums and a driving 124 BPM tempo—while methodically altering the track's fundamental harmonic center: the minor key.

c3_10 (D Minor): A deep, focused groove that establishes a classic, reliable tech house foundation.

c3_9 (D Minor): A subtle variation demonstrating the inherent, beautiful randomness the AI introduces, even under identical constraints.

c3_6 (F# Minor): This track introduces a deliberate, subtle tension and an unsettled feel, designed for complex DJ transitions and extended listening.

c3_4 (C# Minor): The most intense and dramatic track of the set, leveraging a lower, richer key to enhance the perceived depth of the "underground" aesthetic.
Observations on the Creative Process

This release provides insight into the modern co-creative process. While we successfully achieved precise control over the rhythm, dynamics, and overall production aesthetic, the melodic and harmonic aspects that were left unspecified felt less refined. This highlights a crucial observation: true creative control in AI generation requires clear, intentional direction. The human touch—defining the intent and curating the final output—remains essential to the artistic outcome.
