Each track is a flash of fragmented euphoria and chemical melancholy - a strobe-lit moment between collapse and clarity. Freaking Out On Painkillers

This is a World People Catalgue mix by TOTO WP, a DJ set featuring tracks from the last Wolrd People Catalogue VA and WP artists tracks TOTO WP — label manager, founder, and captain of World People Prod, and artist under the alias 3P-Rate — is a true good-vibes catcher with a lot to offer to our psychedelic culture.  In 2003, he made the trip of a lifetime and began DJing in South Africa and Goa, surrounded by what would become today’s elite of the psychedelic scene. That experience gave him a significant boost in his musical journey.  In 2006, he co-founded World People, and by 2009 he took full responsibility for World People Prod, organizing festivals in the south of France with crowds of up to 5,000 people.  A landmark year came in 2013, when he launched his live project Skyhigh Pirates in collaboration with Mark Skyhighartrist. A few years later, after Mark’s departure, the project evolved into a solo act: 3P-Rate, created to explore a different register of psychedelic dance music. 3P-Rate is a night-to-morning project — a wild, high-energy ride packed with twisted, psychedelic soundscapes, infectious grooves, and rock-solid basslines.

The Universal Tribe Records series kicks off with INVERTED WORLD featuring this fresh, "Expressions" Live Set with a wide range of his releases, from older tracks to the most recent releases, recorded especially for this Universal Tribe series on radiOzora. Lucas Magalhães is the Brazilian behind the Inverted World project. A native of Minas Gerais and a lover of psychedelic music, he presents in his productions a deep and introspective musical education, bringing to his sound influences from different musical genres, combined with percussion, tribal elements and organic atmospheres, which refer to the power of nature and the jungle, bringing a peculiar style that moves masterfully between Bush Prog and Dark Prog, with strong Zenonesque characteristics. Representative of the renowned Australian record label Universal Tribe Records since 2021, being the first Brazilian producer to sign with the label, today he already collects releases by several highly regarded national and international record labels.

So full disclosure.... this is a studio recreation of the tracks played. Iistening back in the car today, this isn't how I mixed it live (the recording off the desk fucked up) and I'm a little disappointed but I'll polish this version - I was just too excited to get it out there because I had such a good time and I rushed it!!!

It was the 2nd time that I had the honour to be at Kosmos Festival with a 10 year break in 2015. The festival is still stunning and has a very special own vibe, being located close to nowhere in the Finish forests. As I arrived, I was asked by my friend and one of the main organizers if I could fill a gip of another DJ who could not make it in time due to flight issues. So within a bit less than an hour, I thought of some music to play after the opening of the Vortex Stage, including a live performance of artists and acrobauts on the dancefloor :) So please, have a listen and decide for yourself if this could be a suitable 2nd set of the festival.. Bio: 

Diego SH, a.k.a. “WISSEN” from puebla Mexico,began his career on the scene at the age of 16 with his photography project within the Nephilim Art collective. Two years later, he began practicing DJ sets, later performing at his first events as an independent artist. He currently remains one of the most active DJs on the scene in our city, improving and leaving much to talk about in his most recent performances.
