Yelena Belova’s story is one of survival, loss, and the quiet resilience that shapes a reluctant hero. As a child, she was torn from innocence and thrust into the brutal training of the Red Room, where affection was replaced by manipulation and trust was a weapon wielded against her. Her childhood was not defined by laughter or safety, but by the constant reminder that she was expendable, molded into something sharp and unyielding. Yet beneath the initial conditioning -to eventual mind control- a spark of humanity endured—a longing for family, for belonging, for something more than orders and missions.  

That spark grew into defiance. When the illusions of her “family” fractured, Yelena’s pain was raw, but it revealed her deepest truth: she was not just a weapon, she was a person who craved connection. I wrote this song to express that vulnerability, the awkwardness, the nerdiness, and the quiet hope that maybe, just maybe, someone out there is also floating, looking for their place. It’s a reminder that even when we feel out of orbit, we’re not alone in our space.

The Girl I Was "Yelena's Anthem"

Nebula. in my opinion, the greatest character arc in the MCU. she went from what appeared to be a cold killer in GOTG to a hero in Endgame. This song highlights her inner turmoil, her anger grief, and resentment of the life that was chosen for her, not by her. 

The only way to capture her feelings in a way that suits her character, I believe, is thrash metal. nebula is a character who has been through hell and back she is not a woman who can be encapsuted in a song easy. but I did my best.

The verses conjure images of dirt, dust, and broken glass — metaphors for the toll addiction can take on the body and spirit. The chorus becomes a cry from the ground, where hitting rock bottom feels both physical and emotional, a reflection of the way substances can numb pain yet deepen the cracks beneath the surface.  

The pre-chorus insists that the fire doesn’t die, even when rain — or relapse — tries to extinguish it. By the bridge, ashes rise and wings unfold, symbolizing transformation: turning lead into gold, turning the destructive cycle of abuse into fuel for resilience. This song represents the journey through despair, the bitter taste of rust and scars of silence, and the hard-won hope that even in endless night, recovery and renewal are possible. It’s a testament to the human spirit’s ability to crawl through flames, confront the darkness of addiction, and emerge stronger, carrying light for others still searching.

Ghosts in my veins is a haunting rock ballad that  dives into the fractured psyche of Yelena Belova, the Black Widow forged in the shadows of the Red Room. Through raw verses and soaring choruses, the song traces her journey from stolen childhood to reluctant heroism—where every smile was rehearsed, every bond a risk, and every victory haunted by ghosts of the past.  

The lyrics unravel her survivor’s guilt, the scars of manipulation, and the fragile hope of redemption, weaving a portrait of a woman stitched together by fire and loss yet still reaching for light. Natasha’s influence flickers like a fragile flame, offering glimpses of family and belonging, even as Yelena battles the chains of her conditioning.  

Musically and lyrically, the track balances vulnerability with defiance: soft, intimate moments give way to powerful crescendos, mirroring her fight to break free from control and carry her own flame. It’s a reminder that balance isn’t perfect, and strength doesn’t always look loud — sometimes it’s just choosing to keep going, one breath at a time.

Running On Empty, Dreaming In Color.

Inspired by Yelena Belova’s emotional breakdown in the Marvel movie Thunderbolts*, It dives deep into Yelena’s loneliness, her guilt, and the memories she can’t escape — the Red Room, the children, the missions, the silence that follows her home.  

Told from her point of view, the song captures the moment she finally lets the mask slip and admits the truth she’s been carrying for years: “Daddy, I’m so alone.” Soft, intimate verses unravel her spiraling thoughts, while the chorus opens into raw vulnerability and the desperate hope that she can still find the girl she used to be.  

This is Yelena at her most human — hurting, haunted, and still fighting for a light she barely remembers.



Daddy, I'm So Alone

Music is often called a universal language because it speaks to the heart in ways words alone can not. It has the power to lift spirits, soothe pain, and awaken memories. A single melody can offer comfort, stir sadness, or spark joy—reminding us that we are never truly alone in our emotions. Through shared songs, we find empathy: we can step into another’s grief, celebrate their joy, or feel the weight of their struggles. In this way, music fosters compassion and understanding across boundaries.  

Yet, like any powerful force, music can be misused—twisted to incite hatred or division. That is why I believe so deeply in harnessing it for good. When used with care and intention, music becomes a tool for healing, resilience, and emotional connection.  

My goal is simple but meaningful: to create songs that carry messages people can relate to, connect with, and perhaps find solace in. I don’t come from fame or recognition—I’m just someone who has always loved music. As a teenager in the 1980s, I spent hours with a double tape deck, making my own mixes and dreaming of composing the kind of songs I longed to hear. Back then, mixtapes were the closest I could get to shaping my own sound.  

Now, thanks to advances in AI technology, that dream has become possible. I can create original music that reflects my personal taste—complete with lyrics and vocals across multiple genres from metal to folk that resonate with me. I take my time with each song, building them carefully so they are not just assembled but crafted with intention, meaning, and emotional weight.  

Best of all, I can share these creations freely. My hope is that someone, somewhere, will hear a lyric or melody and feel comfort, courage, or joy. If my music can reach even one person in that way, then it has fulfilled its purpose.
