Luminous Beings released their first album "Pretty Chill" in the late 90's as a deep meditative ambient concept album that took listeners on a continuously-mixed journey to an engineered relaxation featuring hypnotizing audio interlaced with brainwave frequencies and binaural beats. Their follow-up, "The Real You" was released in 2002, "Dream Research" in 2005, and the fourth album "The Future is..." was released in 2007.

It's been 16 years since a new album and the time has finally arrived for the latest album "Self-Inflicted Happiness" to be released in August 2024.

Mostly Cloudy is a project shaped by a lifelong connection with music in all its forms. Growing up, the radio was always on—filling the room with everything from pop hits to rock anthems, from eurodance euphoria to club-driven beats. Recording mixtapes and late-night DJ sets off the airwaves became an obsession, and through those broadcasts, a deeper love for electronic music took hold. It was the pulsing energy of eurodance that first pulled me in, but tracks like Tomcraft’s “Loneliness” opened the door to something more—to the immersive, emotional world of deeper electronic sounds.
