Crew Love proteges Life On Planets deliver this week's exquisite mix and we're sure you'll have this on repeat all year long. The duo have prepared a lush selection of tracks that really embody that deep, sultry sound that we love here at Deep House London.

In case you didn't know, Life On Planets are a duo from Baltimore who have become tightly linked with Crew Love (i.e. Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap et al) and have dropped some seriously great EPs already, epitomising that vocal-led, funky sound that we often associate with Crew Love. They perform live as well as DJing, and have all the qualities of a big-time future success.

We love all their releases so far, 'Fata Morgana' on Better On Foot for instance and also their brilliant track 'Fork In The Path' - a remix of which we premiered just recently over on Deep House Amsterdam.

Some times the music just magically comes out, and that is the case here with "Syria" by new Sol*Selectas artist Unders from Amsterdam. After several successful tunes above the 120 BPM mark on labels like Sincopat and Groove On, "Syria" was Unders' first attempt at slower grooves, and an accidental experiment that just "fell into place, and was automatic magic". Syria's current political unrest is all over the news and social media, and the story being painted is difficult to watch. Driven to create a song which goes against all the negative publicity, Unders says "between all the negativity, the more i looked into the situation, the country, its people and its culture, the more this track reminded me of so much beauty the media doesn’t portray." The song itself a slow minimal trip with chopped up guitar licks, a gorgeous flute sample that takes the listener to far off desert lands, and features the vocals of Veerle.  Satori is yet another up and coming producer from the Netherlands, gaining instant recognition sharing the stage and studio with Acid Pauli, and producing incredible tunes utilizing live instruments played by himself, and tastefully incorporating these with electronic elements. His remix preserves the original message of "Syria" lowering the BPM to an even more hypnotic 104 BPMs. Satori adds middle eastern strings and chords, swapping out the original vocal for a more Saharan inspired call, and even plays delicately with some acid sounds furthering the listeners journey.  
Both songs are meant to invoke peaceful images of Syria, and conjure up positive intention on the dance floor. Sol*Selectas is very excited to present the debut song "Syria" from Unders, and the amazing remix by Satori,  two artists from the Netherlands you would do well to keep your eyes and ears open to in 2016.

Third Attempt is Torje Fagertun Spilde, a 20 year old artist and DJ originally from Asker, just outside of Oslo. Now established in Tromsø , Norway, he is one of the young forces in the rising new generation of electronic producers from the birthplace of the Northern Disco Groove.

Both young DJs and Deep House music producers. First of all, you must know that beyond the name lays a history. At the early stage of their lives, Lumoon & Rob!n decided to discover, hand in hand, the multiple angles of music. Throughout exploration, they found their ideal style in Deep House. Their melodic signature is a mix of harmonious, stirring and strong sounds. Our Belgian youngsters found themselves into the musical spirit of huge artists such as Karmon, ATTAR!, Purple Disco Machine or Larse.  
Following their long lasting passion for electronic music, this young duo decided launched the creation of their own musical Label “Clair de Lune Records”. Continuously seeking for new melodies, they strive for perfection in order to entertain their public. These unique and melodious sounds drove the two artists to become one of the most promising Belgian duos, playing in prestigious events like the famous “Anarchic”, or the young and rising “LOVE”. They have been many times in nightclubs such as the Nubä of Paris, the Wood of Brussels or new German clubs alongside artists like Felix Da Housecat, Compuphonic or Parra For Cuva. 
Lumoon & Rob!in were gifted with many skills, but their main quality lies in their way of working. They have the ability to bond with their public, taking them into their musical world. Making them discover the delicate, smooth and emotional curves of their set. There is something bewildering inside Lumoon & Rob!in’s music… Somewhere between honesty and timidity, however always unseen and creative.
