The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Hyunji-A from Montreal, Canada back to the label for the remix EP of "Sunset Drive". In Montreal, she played at venues such as Newspeak and Stereo.

Last year, Hyunji became the Sound Avenue Talks podcast show host, where she interviews artists from the SA label group.

Baez, Yumi Kobayashi, and Ric Niels got invited to make a remix on this EP.

Clubsonica Records opens the fall season by welcoming Juan Sapia back to the label for a new EP. Hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Argentina, Juan Sapia has enjoyed a steady rise since first emerging in 2017. As a favourite of progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Buenos Aires resident has compiled an impressive resume, landing releases on top tier imprints such as Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers, Sudbeat Music, and The Soundgarden. Also calling Clubsonica home, Juan made his label debut in June of last year with 'Masana | Embrace', a well-received joint project with Sri Lankan artist Hasith. Now, returning to the label in solo capacity, Juan unveils his second Clubsonica project 'Holy Grail | Space Turtle', alongside remixes from Greg Ochman and Ethereal Mist.

Getting the release underway and sitting as one of Juan's biggest productions to date is 'Holy Grail'. Warm beats and a full, rolling groove set the foundation for a narrative of colourful arps, cosmic effects and heartfelt harmonics. Pushing a trance-inspired mood into the break; Juan marries emotive chord changes with symphonic synth swagger across the mood lifting interlude, building emotion with each successive pass as melodies open, before eventually giving way to a thumping drop and key changing finale. The companion piece 'Space Turtle' continues the trance-inspired lean of the release and lands with an equally impressive display of craftsmanship. Smooth and uplifting throughout, it's a collage of warm pulsating beats, retro-arps and balmy pads which captivate leading into the break. Charming synth phrases and delicate arps further the story as the centrepiece unfolds, bringing with them hopeful moods and transcendent vibes, before a tasteful drop puts your senses on high for a groovy conclusion.

Returning to the label with the lone interpretation of 'Holy Grail' is Greg Ochman. Hailing from Poland, Greg first emerged in 2021 with a release via Sebastian Leger's Lost Miracle. Comprised of three tracks, this organic offering would lead to future releases for Kiksuya Records, Plattenbank, Radiant and Warung Recordings. Clubsonica was also one of Greg's first landing spots, with April of 2021 marking his label debut with the thematic sounds of 'Mistlove'. Smooth and groovy across the first movement, Greg continues his stylized ways with youthful vocal elements, sleek percussive arrangements and whimsical melodies creating a colourful path into the main break. Sitting comfortably in an emotive yet thought provoking space, joyous melodies and percussive flurries rise out of calming atmospheres as the interlude evolves, eventually breaking off into a heartwarming drop and charming finale.

The release concludes with Ethereal Mist with the lone interpretation of 'Space Turtle'. Hailing from Colombia and perhaps best known for his Parallel Universe alias alongside Mauro Pierotti, Ethereal Mist has been a fixture of his country's electronic music scene for the better part of a decade. Clubsonica has been a familiar landing spot for his progressive minded productions, with a 2016 debut setting the course for three additional projects across the next two calendar years. From warm, rhythmic beginnings comes redolent themes and heartfelt sonics. Gentle flutters build and balmy atmospheres emerge, perfectly setting the stage for shimmering melodies and clattering percussion to forge a path into the break. Carrying the trance-inspired mood of the original, the Colombian creates moments of hope and elation as the centrepiece evolves, before smoothly segueing into a thumping finale which is sure to send people home with a smile. A stunning remix from Ethereal Mist, which rounds out a welcome return to Clubsonica for Juan Sapia, an artist who continues to impress and rise in the world of progressive house.

'Presenting their first release of the year, EDGE welcomes Eric Lune and Juan Sapia to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Australia, Eric Lune emerged from his country's progressive music landscape in 2018. Noted for his emotional dance floor productions, Eric's craft shines through vividly, making each one of his creations an incredibly absorbing experience. A debut on Sound Avenue foreshadowed what has been a four-year creative swell for the Melbourne resident. A string of well-received projects for Balance Music, Plattenbank, Proton Music and Sound Avenue have yielded play and support from Guy Mantzur, Eelke Kleijn and Nick Warren. Meanwhile, hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Argentina, Juan Sapia has enjoyed a similar rise to success since first emerging in 2017. As a favourite of progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Buenos Aires resident has compiled an impressive resume, landing releases via Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers, Sudbeat Music and The Soundgarden. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, Eric and Juan debut on EDGE with ‘Diamonds’, alongside a remix from Eran Aviner & Hermanez. 

EP opener and title selection ‘Diamonds’ finds that perfect balance between rhythm and musicality, as Eric and Juan let hopeful atmospheres descend over warm beats and layers of dusty drums. Thematically distinct moving forward, soulful strums and scenic vocal edits ring out in timeless suspension, elevating mood while providing a bridge into the main break. Sure to be a memorable dance floor moment, percussive slowly melts away across the centrepiece, as melodic clusters emerge and each sound becomes an event in a slowly expanding landscape, zooming out to reveal a world of scale in which depth and contrast coax perfectly with colour and emotion. The inevitable zenith of this heartwarming narrative peaks with a rare combination of hope, heartache and reflection, ultimately setting the course for a groovy drop and tasteful finale. Meanwhile, the companion piece ‘Himalaya’ lands with an equally impressive display of craftsmanship, as Eric and Juan reaffirm their progressive prowess, planting multiple explosions of serotonin through transcendent melodies, vocal overlays and glassy motifs. Clever musical co-actions make for a break that is both poignant and otherworldly, flowing through wavy arps and emotive key changes, before confidently returning to the groove for a sweeping, acid-laced finale. '

As the progressive grooves and swaying rhythms of opener ‘Aura' unfold, it's clear that Juan's craft must be taken to heart. Renowned for his trance-inspired melodies, the Buenos Aires resident opts for a deeper approach here, working placid pads over dulcet grooves and dusty percussive arrangements. Building patiently across the first movement, its creamy tones and heartfelt harmonies marry beautifully during a transcendent break, before layers of wind-swept sonics cue a gorgeous drop and glowing finale. Beneath the calming waves of ‘Aura' lies a tastefully melodic production entitled ‘Forest Song'. Evoking a confident club energy from the start, Juan's colourful sonics, emotionally resonant hooks and nostalgic melodies blanket a tight yet groovy framework. With an infectious energy that could win over even the most discerning of fans, it's a journey that becomes unabashedly epic at its peak, as melodies unite in a whirlpool of textural bliss, making for a sure fire dance floor weapon.

Returning to the label for the lone interpretation of ‘Aura' is Paul Deep. With a career that spans the better part of a decade, the Argentinean artist has compiled an impressive resume along the way, landing releases via All Day I Dream, Tale & Tone, The Soundgarden and Sudbeat. World class DJs Lee Burridge, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have all been steadfast supporters of Paul's sound. With his year being highlighted by an EP for Dmitry Molosh's Proportion imprint, Paul now makes a welcome return to Clubsonica with a stellar rendition of ‘Aura'. Focusing on a slightly darker monochrome, the Buenos Aires resident goes deep and techy for what results in a heady nine-minute journey. Rebounding rhythms and deep chugging basslines set the course for snatches of flickering percussion and growling stabs. Looking to bring a greater emotional response, the main break shifts the narrative through heartfelt chord changes and trance-inducing melodies, before a wave of white noise perfectly sets up a stripped back drop and meditative finale. 

The release concludes with Leo Guerrero making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Forest Song'. Hailing from Colombia, new  inspirations led Leo to progressive music where he restarted his production journey under his own name, while finding a home on Antrim's Strangers Beats and D-Nox's Sprout. Continuing on this explorative path, the Medellin resident now adds Clubsonica to his resume with a powerful take on ‘Forest Song'. Beginning with a buoyant kick and galloping groove, the Colombian artist channels the melodic energy of the original through panoramic synths and percolating arps, before a deconstructed take on the main musical theme emerges across the break, perfectly setting up a thrilling peak-time finale. A gorgeous interpretation from Leo, which rounds out a must have return to Clubsonica for Juan Sapia, an artist who continues to stand out in Argentina's progressive house landscape.

Next to strike the ever-blossoming Pro B Tech discography is burgeoning talent and label debutant, Andrew Winstanley.

In-keeping with the vibes of which fans of the label will now be accustomed, title track 'Logical Machine' is a slice of hypnotic progressive house oozing character, melody and other-worldliness.

With Winstanley's original standing proud, owing to it's mesmerising qualities, it's left to a troop of able cohorts to deliver a varied but brutally effective selection of remixes. 

No stranger to the label having released a number of well-received records on Pro B Tech in the recent past, New Zealand's Nila takes to the helm in the first instance for a deep-seated, brooding re-interpretation, with melodies remaining centre stage.

Jonny Burg is next to remix, adding further traction to a reputation quickly gathering momentum. Burg delves deeper still with a blistering, progressive roller destined to find favour with many as both early and late night weaponry.

The release also sees a welcome return of Manchester DJ/producer, Ian Dillon. Dillon wastes little time in extracting some of the principal melodic impulse of Winstanley's original piece, though a brace of bass-laden creative bursts also leap to prominence to deliver a unique rework.

Favourite of both Pro B Tech and sister label BTech Noir, Kiz Pattison completes an impressive assemblage of remixes. As is customary in Pattison's work, the remix is lavished with dark, evolving and trippy techno moods; ensuring an deliciously anomalous interpretation of Winstanley's brainchild.

The latest installment on Francesco Pico's Magnitude Recordings label brings us to Israel where we welcome Golan Zocher on board for a fresh sounding two tracker.

Golan emerged into the scene only two years ago, but by now he's praised for a solid output of both solo- and collaborative releases (mainly with Kamilo Sanclemente) on labels such as Future Sound Of Egypt, Perspectives Digital, Clubsonica, MNL, Particles and Modern Agenda to name a few.

If you've been following Magnitude Recordings ever since it's re-launch a couple of months ago, you'll agree that Golan's sound matches the label seamlessly. It truly feels like a match made in heaven.

Both 'Enter' and 'Sandman' are sure to gain support of the global progressive house scene with their immaculate production values and infectious dance floor appeal.
