➤ About this collaboration:
Shqiprim Thaqi is an Albanian Çifteli player (ancient Albanian instrument). They became close friends when they discovered each other’s love for world music. 

The track starts with Shqiprim’s Çifteli theme. It drives the listener almost through the whole song. thds’ instrumentation is a bit more aggressive and club-oriented than his usual soft take on music. The redundancy of the melody, evolving arrangements and pushful percussion give the first part of the song almost a trance vibe. When the break comes, the monophonic bassline gets brightened up by thds’ guitar chords, sunk in a spacious reverb, progressively bringing the track to a more dramatic and emotional end.

"Este proyecto y EP lo comencé a desarrollar hace algunos años en el Sur de Brasil, y lo terminé en Entre Ríos, Argentina. Con mucho movimiento y cambios en el medio, logré disfrutar del proceso y el resultado.

Xamãdança es mi conexión y aprendizaje con la Tierra, mi experiencia directa con las energías de la naturaleza y sus ciclos. Mi simbiosis con el ecosistema, como criatura bípeda terrestre que soy, en constante proceso de crecimiento.
